Hay guise! Of all the horrible people you can meet (or be) in the Mass Effect series, who are you the most relieved not to have as your neighbour?

It's been a while since I played the games in single player, so I don't remember all the possible picks. I'm going to have to go with Renegade Shepard, myself. Since (s)he apparently has carte blanche to commit whatever atrocity the mood calls for, I can't think of anyone with more dangerous toes to step on.

Probably Morinth. She got a group of people to worship her as a goddess, and sacrifice their children to her.

You don't wanna **** with someone like that. Let alone have her live next to you. If Morinth was my neighbor I would do everything in my power to not be noticed by her.

Definitely Samara. I don't like the cops to begin with, so I'd be terrified of vigilante extremists such as the Justicars if they were real, seeing as they're apparently permitted to massacre police forces for interfering with their investigations.

At least Ardat Yakshi can be avoided by practicing safe-sex -- get your partner tested.

Justicars would probably enforce traffic violations by executing you on the side of the road.

But you'd never run into a Justicar unless you happen to be in Asari space. And even then you only have to worry about them if you're a corrupt piece of garbage.

And in the odd case of Justicars becoming common outside of Asari space, I'm dead certain the other races would start shooting them on the spot instead of trying to put them in prison for breaking their laws, knowing the consequences of incarcerating them.

In short, Justicars would be nothing to be afraid of unless you happen to be a criminal in Asari space. Being scared of them would be like fearing being hit in the head by lightning, twice.

Good points. I wouldn't be too worried for my personal health by Morinth, because she wouldn't be interested in me at all, and she'd be out travelling all the time and whatnot. Samara, on the other hand... Oy, oy, oy.

I would not care for Wreav to live next door

I imagine the parties would be pretty great though

T'soni. I don't want to deal with an obsessed asari in the neighborhood.

You know, Samara does state that Justicars being called in is a last resort and even if they happen to be there, they'll usually try the non-violent approach first.

And to the original question, the holokid. I'd be fine with the Reapers, we all have to go sometime. But boy am I glad that this piece of **** failure of logic and reason is only fictitious.

Obsessed with what? Protheans? It makes sense for her to be obsessed with them since she's studied them for most of her life. Obsessed with you?

Don't make me laugh.

Morinth - psycho succubus
Liara - creepy socially awkward stalker
Most Turians - generally born with sticks up their asses

I think I'd get along with Samara just fine myself, I've always held a great respect for law enforcement and I have to admit...she gets results.

Why would I want to make you laugh?

She has an obsession towards Shepard for whatever reason.

Morinth would be my choice as well.

If she moved next door, I'd have really tall, and I mean really tall, hedges so that I could crawl to my car and back. No need her even seeing me, right? Image IPB

As far as neighbors go, more than likely morinth. But I'd definitely not want vega as a roommate. Not because I don't like him(imagine the parties), but because we'd probably spend twice as much on food trying to keep the fridge stocked in a month then rent.

You are not Shepard.

I think the assumption here is characters in relation to you IRL.

So Liara wouldn't be obsessed with any of us. And chances are some people here even Morinth would pass up for snu-snu:lol:.

I already know a variation of a lot of these characters. haha. I don't know if that's good or bad. Morinth may not exist literally, but there are plenty of psychic vampires who slither into your head like that, if you're not careful. And plenty of stalkers, teenage brutes, and scarred up old men with tales to tell.

I always had a soft spot for Morinth - it's not her fault she was afflicted with disease and the alternative choice (living at the monastery) seems painfully boring.

I think I'd hate it if EDI was my neighbour. She seems overly...inquisitive.

Funny, haven't you always said your Shepard banged the former? And disposed of Alenko on Virmire specifically so she'd be available for it?

On topic, Rachni Queen. Start with one, and a month later the neighborhood is crawling with them... that probably sounded really wrong.

Yes I did. It's a character flaw.

My Shepard knew Alenko was the better choice, and he let his penis get the better of his judgement. The only reason he saved Ashley was because of his rather ambiguous feelings for her, and he regrets it later.

It's part of my characterization of my Shepard. It's one of his singular greatest regrets, especially when Ashley comes back to cause trouble that nearly costs the galaxy everything.

Ash and Miranda would just make me tune out, since all they talk about is family now. Not sure what to say to people who do that. I don't hate it. It's just like "Uh.. cool?" It's kind of banal. That's partly the writer's fault though.

Cynical Response: Definitely the Catalyst. He'll probably end up uprooting my garden into the compost every 50 days due the inevitability that my plants will develop some fungal infection that will lead to the destruction of all botanical life, or something.

Otherwise I wouldn't want to live next to a bunch of Krogan.
