I know we can't get a neccessarly true closure in the game so why not a online interactive comic instead?
where if we did want shepard to survive
Shepard could've rebuild thessia with liara and have those blue children
Shepard could've helped rebuild talis homeworld or have been with her
or even female shepard meetimg garriuses parents and having a nice family reunion
a true ending that all fans can have for themselves even if they couldn't have in the game please bioware think about it please.

What if your problem goes beyond Shepard's survival, and into the fundamental nature of the RGB choices?
Then I guess in the comic they could flesh out the choices of what we chose from those endings in more detail

From past experience, specifically ME3, I can say that BW, dabbling in comics, led to some very bad narrative in that............. there was little to no setup and therefore very little context to some of the game storylines that tied into the comic storylines.
Before I read the comic of how Aria lost Omega to Cerberus I was sad to see that the tale of this Grand Admiral Thrawn type didn't seem to convince that this admiral was a cut above the rest of the typical Xenophile Cerberus operative.
Then when I was able to read the comic from the library, suddenly the character grew and expanded beyond his in game depiction........
Far better to drop the comics and focus on the games. Having Mass Effect as the Star Wars of our generation should mean having ripping adventure's in a compelling sci-fi environment.
Not that it should be franchised into everything from baby pacificers to shoes with an N7 logo printed on them.
...........Okay, the merchanidise isn't a bad thing. It makes BW money. But if the game was a cake then it needs to contain the base, filling and cherries of the narrative. Not cut out part's and spread across different media's.

If he's opposed to the fundamental nature of the choices, wouldn't more detail just amplify the suck for him?

Personally i'd prefer them to sell a catalyst doll, kindling and a lighter so i'd least i could exercise my anger through burning the little ****** at the stake.

I don't have a problem with choices in which it is hard to discern what the most positive outcome would be.
My issue with the ending is that its more that it doesn't make sense narratively or thematically, and it is simply doesn't deliver.

In this comic will I have the choice of which characters live or die?

Everything you listed sounds like fan-fic territory, to be honest.
...just like the citadel DLC
I would have loved to have a playable epilogue like the one in Dragon Age. But a comic...I don't know. The ME comics tend to be of pretty poor quality.

Not really, no. The gaps in time discussed in the original post will look very, very different to most of ME's players.

Well, that's what EC brought about, so yeah...

The endings are what they are at this point. You either accept them or you don't.

Well, that ship sailed a long time ago...but I don't see how an epilogue that involves things like "Shepard and Liara settle Thessia/Shepard and Tali return to Rannoch/etc." would be any different from the (happy) romance endings in Baldurs Gate, Jade Empire or DA:O. I don't remember people complaining about these epilogues.

I would love to see a 3 season HBO Mass Effect series that retells the story from multiple perspectives instead of exclusively Shepard's. That would also give screenwriters an opportunity to create a coherent ending for Shepard. Live or die, Shep deserves an ending that isn't dumb.
I ain't holdin' my breath, though.

Shepard wakes up on the Asteroid of Arrival. Then he realizes he had a nightmare of ME3. Then Harbringer was trolling him with the Truth of the Citadel. then Shepard with Help of His Cerberus crew disable the Starkid and disabling all of the Reapers in Dark Space and No more 3 colors ending. No more stupid plotlines of ME3.

I was hoping he would wake up back in the Normandy med bay after the Eden Prime mission.

There are a lot of fans of Me1, Me2, and Me3. And Even I like some of ME3 elements. So I have to balance out everything.
Of course, choices in how you can get rid of the Starkid would be important.

Interesting you mention T'soni, Tali and Garrus and not Miranda, Samantha, Steve, Jack, and Kaidan/Ashley.

Sure why not I only listed the characters that jumped out at me
