If allowed to live, what do you think Anders is doing between DA2 and DAI?

He's probably a gibbering animal who goes around attacking everything.

Was it his Awakening voice actor or II voice actor.  Also, voice actors do in fact get re-hired all the time.  It's actually kind of funny how you can find the same people voicing a new or multiple characters in different games.

Greg Ellis is the one who confirmed work on DAI. Da2 Anders's voice actor, whose name I can't remember, confirmed that he isn't working on DAI on twitter a while ago.

Anders is most likely guilting some other gullable, hopeless romantic into living in their house, doing his dirty work and then dumping the responsibility of dealing with his actions on his new "love".... or maybe I'm just bitter

It's a reference to the one cave in all of DA2.  You know the one.

Where did you heard about Anders's voice actor saying that he's working in DAI? Are you sure he's DA2 Anders and not DAA Anders, who gave the voice to Cullen, and confirmed that he's working on Cullen?

Da2 Anders' voice actor actually confirmed that he isn't doing any work for DAI on his Twitter a while ago.

Thanks for the info. So Rassler almost surely meant Greg Ellis, Anders's DAA voice actor.

That means if Anders has a role, it won't be major, since the worry with Cullen/Anders in DA2 was an overlap in voice (though Isabella got a new voice even though Anora wasn't in the game).

On a serious note though....Anders is a footnote... like that guy that killed Archduke Ferdinand... what was his name? Exactly... I don't see him as a leader type and I definitely don't see him as being the type with a "master plan", Justice/Vengeance inside him or no... I think his bright ideas (and relevance) started and ended with blowing up the Chantry

His name was Gavrilo Princep.

But yeah, Anders won't be some symbol. Cassandra, a Seeker of Truth, didn't even know he was the one who blewv up the Kirkwall Chantry until Varric told her. If the Seekers don't know who you are, that means you are insignificant.

Cassandra knew who Anders was, and that he was responsible of the Chantry's destruction. She thought he was Hawke's pawn though.
DA2 isn't exactly clear on this, but Asunder shown that mages knew that Anders was responsible, so I doubt templars and Seekers didn't know about him.

Yes, I was clarified on that point in the Anderstrian Thread. Though i think it's safe to say the general public would not know about him.

I believe Asunder takes place a couple months to a year after the Kirkwall Chantry went up in flames. Plenty of time for Cullen to send word to Val Royeaux and for word to spread like wildfire through Thedas.

@eluvianix:
I agree on Cullen's role. Though I'm not sure if Anders's involvment is well-know in the general populace. I don't know if the Chantry would be willing to spread the info about what really happened in Kirkwall.
@LSD Darth Revan: I responded above.

Sorry didnt read the book(s?)! I'm just going off of general historical fact that the instigators of things like this usually get forgotten, though not the deed. And in a land where gossip rules, I can only imagine what Anders' name was morphed into by the time it go to the small towns around Thedas. (Just think of the telephone game).

@al0u: the mages reunited in a conclave knew Anders's name. Cassandra knew who Anders was. There are people who know him and his actions (though nobody knew the real story, since Cassandra's version is wrong, as it was shown in DA2). I don't know about the common folks.

Well, unless they distributed a fact flyer throughout the land, the "Truth" will be whatever the travelling bard tells the townsfolk and will most likely reflect the political/social perspective of the person telling it. I mean in DA2, most of the misinformation seemed to come from Varric himself. Every time you talked to him he told you about this story he embellished or that tale he made up about Hawke. I imagine the Anders tale is much the same way. Heck, by the end of the telling of it, his name could be Andralla and he's a female Dalish elf. Who knows...

Agreed. I believe people are aware of the Chantry going up in flames, but Anders, Meredith, Orsino, and that whole Annulment issue are probably going to be skewed and retold in different ways by the common people.

@eluvianix and al0u: I agree that it's more likely that the main actors involved in the end of DA2 and their actions are known in a different way of what really happened.

Not to mention the two sides.
