Lets see if i am able to explain what I mean with all of this.

Lets say you play Orgins and all dlc that are available right now, then move your character to Awekening when the expansion is released and finish that. What will happen after that when new dlc are released. How will my character who moved to awekening access that?
I dont think the dlc they will release after will require Awekening, cause that would limit possible dlc sales, so that might mean I will be able to go back to the old origins map afterwards. But what If I create an New character in Awekening? that character will have a new origin not covered with my old companions, so how will he have access the new dlc and the old dlc?

I hope that mess makes sense B)

Any ideas?

Sorry, but that was kinda confusing....do you mean once you finish Awakening, wil lthey be able to move onto new DLC?

If so, then no one can answer only guess....ld assume thou if new DLC continues the timeline, then yes.

If its DLC that adds to Orgins, then ld say not.

But again, just guessing.

I'm guessing you'll end up having to load your epilogue save from Origins.

From my understanding, once you transfer a character to Awakening you can't access places like Warden's Keep anymore. But only from within Awakenings. The save you transferred is still there, it hasn't been erased, and you can access it to play new DLC that takes place before the expansion's timeline. But Awakening opens with the assumption that the time frame for all that DLC is over and done with.

Yeah, that's what I mean. if we can move on to new dlc that adds to origins.

It is an interesting question because it raises the issue if future DLC will be part of Awakenings or Origins - or could it be for both? Is that even possible with the timeline of both games?

I can't imagine that a lot of folks will move on to DA:A get new stuff, level up and then want to go back and reload some old DAO save to play new DLC back in Ferelden.
