Dragon Age and the peeps are getting me through a tough patch and I'd like to express gratitude.  I don't agree with a lot of what I see but that doesn't mean I don't value it.  I think it would be nice to have an affirmation thread where people can inspire others.  That way when stuff gets too much there's a list of things that are good to look at and remember.

My affirmation:

People are amazing.  Just when you think you have someone nailed down they surprise you.  I'm glad I don't know everything because it means there's hope.

I'm a little sorry no one has anything to say so far. If I phrased it in an angry tone would it help?

Come on, everyone's got a reason for living.

Calm down, no reason to get angry here lol ! this is not a big thing at all and similar to your post but i bought new PC parts a while ago and got the wrong parts so i called them back and said that they got me wrong stuff and had the bad luck to get a very rude person on the phone that refused to help and slam the phone down so i drove to the store and talked with another person and got new parts and as a bonus for his behavior i got to pick something from the store worth 250$, not a super big deal but it's the small things that counts i guess and that some people are decent which does give hope in times of much bullsh*t.

The thank you thread is a little quiet. Maybe there is less traffic on New Years day. Anyways I'd like to be thankful for Dragon Age also.

Surely you can think of one thing to be thankful for!

A video game can "get you through a tough patch"? You are proud of being ignorant?

And most of all...people aren't amazing lol

Hope you have a grand new year! I did not see this thread when it was started. The feed page only goes back so far, and if you are off-line at the time, you can miss a lot.

This

Also, is this a thank you thread for everyone or just for the DA Forums? :?

I NEVER look at the feed/homepage. I specifically am always in the forums manually checking relevant sections.
