There was a "Mage Underground" set of quests that triggered if you sided with the mages early, but not a "Mage's Collective" one. Perhaps they don't have a strong presence in the Free Marches? Anyway, I doubt they'll come back except maybe in a codex entry, considering how large the conflict between mages and templars is now.Veruin wrote...

As for above me, I'm pretty sure the mage's collective was in DA2. You just had to trigger it with some mage friendly choice or something.
