I would, their methods may be questionable (just a little though), but their end goal is something I can support.

A little questionable? They're terrorists point blank, who have kidnapped, tortured, killed, experimented on, etc. a lot of innocent beings, including humans.

To answer the question no I wouldn't work for them. Cerberus has killed humans in the past and they're supposedly pro-human, so they'd obviously have no problem killing you off if you inconvenienced them. Long story short even if you over looked their questionable actions no it's not a good career move to join them.

And what happens when you're the egg?

Oh well

Most armchair Machievelli's likely value their lives more than that, methinks <_<.

There intentions are good in some ways But to sacrifice one humanity in order to try and save it is not saving it at all it make them no better then the collectors or geth, If I had a chance I’d return to the alliance navy in a heart beat.

What's ironic is we have no info on The Collectors, or Geth, or Reapers killing their own kind to accomplish a mission "at all costs", but we do have examples of Cerberus doing this.

So in theory anyway they are worse than the supposed villains we're fighting against.

Well, its not so much me wanting to work for them. I mean my path to Ilos was littered with the corpses of thousand of thier agents and commandos....

But on a side note, they killed Kohaku! YOU BASTARDS!!!!

My "soul/conscious" has a price, they'd have to pay. A lot.

Troubled times call for desperate alliances. Yeah, I'd so it. Wouldn't like it though

Perhaps as a janitor?

Some one needs to keep The Illusive Man's room looking spiffy.

(Begin epic seriousness)I would be a top agent, going with the Illusive Man's word without question or remorse. If captured, cyanide would be slipped under the toungue so as to "escape" capture. Only to be resurrected by the Lazarus Project, thats how dedicated I would be.(End epic seriousness)

Well, my initial reaction is no. They experimented on the survivor of akuze, they killed Admiral Kahoku's team and they think the end justifies the means. I don't.

If I worked with them, and apparently I will, it will be with suspicion, distrust and hopefully, someone I do trust to watch my back because I do believe they will try to use my Shep to carry out their plans and I'm hoping I can use them to my benefit and mess up their agenda.

What the title asks?

If not right now, what would have to occur to you (that could occur in the ME universe obviously) for you to agree to work for Cerberus?

I  could see myself agreeing to it (with a bit of apprehension) if something happened to me like the Colonist background (weak human colony being destroyed by aliens= me thinking we need to be stronger)

No and neither would any of my Shepards.  BW better at least give us the chance to actively work against them while "working with them".

Unless of course they just retcon Cerberus to be a more "cheery" organization so that our Shep's should "have no qualms about it", which would just be incredibly lame.

Yeah, um... let's see. I'd either have to be completely ignorant of their medical experiments (read: torture) of subjects, morally bankrupt, or effectively blackmailed. I have a feeling each and every one of my ME2 Sheps will wind up having to do it because they'd basically been blackmailed with an eye to shutting Cerberus down once I had the chance. If I'm not given the opportunity to stick it to Cerberus in ME3 (or in some DLC), I'll be ticked.

What?

They're the only organization in the game helping you take down a threat to the entire galaxy. Working against them is working against yourself.

No chance. I cannot forgive the horrendous Admiral Kahoku situation :(
