It would definitely be bold and interesting in the current political climate. Though Grand Theft Auto got some surprising hate for it... Despite how well I really feel it was done.

I'm not sure The Dragon Age inquisition is "that" kind of inquisition though... I guess depending on how much agency they give the inquisitor over the inquisition itself, your use of torture to (potentially, common sense says torture is actually ineffective at gathering intelligence) expedite the information gather could determine how the inquisition is views with in Thedas; a source of terror-induced respect in this case.

Count me as one who couldn't handle it because of that bloody Monty Python sketch. I don't think it's feasible for me to play a game with Inquisition in the title, find a torture scene and not get a case of the giggles.

Seriously though, BSN needs to grow a backbone. "Torture, racism, slavery, bigotry in MY bioware game? AWWW HELL NO! Brutal murder and the slaughter of people with different opinions? Sure, why not?"
