Lol even the names are similar. Anders did the exact opposite of what Andraste did but in the same way. Opposing forces none seem to think possible to defeat and dying as martyr in the end. Although if he is alive in a playthrough we'll have to see what happens in DA:I but he will most likey die as he is probably the most wanted person for starting the mage rebelion.

As a speculation, If mages win the war they will hail Anders as a hero and ditch Andraste, who needs her when there is Anders and fellow Anderstians.

Considering Andraste led armies, and many, many other differences, I'm going with yes.  Or a joke/fun topic.

Anders was clearly a hero. Being the freedom fighter that he was, he overcame the evils of the local chantry and templar oppressors. Now magic in all forms, whether blood or lyrium can be practiced.

Anders was the prophet of the Maker, chosen to inform man of the corruption of the chantry and its policies. Through his trials, salvation has been delivered.

Yet another "love to hate Anders" topic. Don't you people have anybody else to tear down? How about Logain, Rendon Howe, or KeeperZathrian all in DA:O, but still villians. Or if you're concentrating on DA:2, you've got the Arishock, or Meridith, or Ser Alric, or doddering old Reverend Mother, who couldn't make up her mind about anything.

I really wonder about the mentality of posters who start hate topics. Do they get their jollies by riling up other people? That's kinda sick, isn't it?
