I have a few people in mind. One..being Morrigan for her son to take over or Flemeth..I guess world power? No, it's not Flemeth. I will say this..sounds good to blame them..I think it's someone else. What do you think?

Probably some magnificent bastard with a glorious beard that found the secrets of the universe in an old ruin in the Dales, moved from the rediscovered Arlathan.  They were hidden inside an old tome with XLII on the cover and contained instructions to split the Veil in exchange for the powers of a god.  Of course it will eventually come out that this magnificent bastard rushed things, made a critical mistake and only got the powers of a little god, easily defeated by the protagonist.

Do we have any idea on where the Fade tear may occur?  I speculate that it would be in or around the Vinmark mountains near Kirkwall.  My reasons include:
  • The tear shown in the teaser looks like a dry, desert environment, similar to Cory's prision
  • The area around Kirkwall is said to be very thinnly veiled
  • Kirkwall itself may be an architectural mechanism for affecting the fade
Since this is where I think it might occur, then my natural conclusion is that it is Corypheus and his subverted Grey Warden minions.  Not saying I am correct, but in my mind this is what I conclude based on existing information.

I don't think it's an existing character in the Dragon age universe, and he or she has been pulling the strings behind the scenes for quite awhile and probably has some involvement with the mage vs templar conflict, civil wars, created the scism in the chantry that Patrice was apart of, the warden and whatever they are up to.

This was prepared ahead of time to strike when they knew all of the groups and people who would normally oppose them are preoccupied with infighting, the conflicts going on, amoung other things and the Venatori seem to be serving them and it's very possible it could be a he given the fact they shout he will regin, Sandals prophecy and it might have something to do with magic.

Corypheus was imprisoned, Flemeth is an unknown factor given that ger goals and motivation her unknown but doubt she tore the veil though she could be a possible antagonist just not the main one. Don't think it's Morrigan and people are blowing certain things out of proportion and I don't think she's as selfish or evil as some people think, also Flemeth was the one who gave her the ritual and it was a "gift" according to Yavana.

Not sure where exactly it occurs just yet because they haven't really given much information away on where it will take place, besides that whole leak thing though I doubt it's still the same.

The Maker did the Van Damme split. But instead of trucks, it was clouds of dimensions.

I'm sorry, I have to say Flemeth and Morrigan. However, it will most likely be a new we never heard before.

Agreed.
Am tired of player's bad guesses based on their hopes.

Nothing as easy as blood mages would be to fight.Has to be a God who did it.Not Flemeth or Morrigan. Not blood Mages. Not the warden or hawke.

In other words I'm sick of these motherf***ing bad guesses on this motherf***ing plane.

Morrigan is the most likely in my books.

Flemeth also comes to mind but then again my speculation is little more then that considering very few details regarding this have even been released.

That said it wouldn't be surprising if they BOTH were somehow involved in said tear.

The OGB did it right after he started puberty.

If he doesn't exist then it just happened randomly.

According to anything the Dev Team, Storyboard writers, or Gaider stated?

Or is it just another one of your opinions?

I don't think they are not responsible based on no eveidence whatsoever but are going to push the Inquisitor into investigating the agents of chaos responsible for it for some unknown purpose.

Note i stated it was my mere speculation but that it was flatly denied due to a mere opinion was an annoyance.

I never claimed i had intricate plot details for a game yet to be released.

That said; That would be fitting a common theme in DA what with Flemeth sort of nudging the PC into doing whatever she thinks they need to be doing, But that said i personally would like a Flemeth influence free character for once.

Are you just trolling now?

Because as far as i am concerned requesting a source for blanket statements isn't exactly asking alot.
