I can't believe I didn't know this. I play the Huntress so much I'm practically a one trick pony and part of my strategy with her involves using her dodge for placement to nail my three targets of choice with my melee. And somehow I'd never noticed.

+1 for headknowledge:D

Alright I had a few people test this with me on bronze versus Cerberus. The dodge damage does consistent stagger versus all Cerberus except Atlases. Guardians didn't stagger consistently; they do if someone dodges away from them from behind. They take damage through the front of the shield though as well. Also found out that running heavy melee with the Bat Glove on blows their heads off even though it's the base Asari HM, not particularly surprising but noteable. Also managed to glitch the hack even though I was off host so though can be done as well. It seems no melee increasing equipment changes the damage but stasis does increase the damage from melee. I guess ragdolled enemies take more damage?

I've been telling people since that glitch was discovered that you don't have to be host nor do you have to be the one who activates the hack to get the glitch.  In one thread about 10 months back I tested it repeatedly and reported my findings on multiple maps and hack locations.  Why the myth that the opposite is true persists is beyond me... Different platforms maybe?  Meh.

It looks like you're glitching it but to the host it isn't.

It is possible to glitch the hack offhost, but it is considerably more difficult, and the only way to know if you've done it correctly is if the host has a mic.

I mean you still get the lit omnitool and the hacking +whatever in the corner there.

We all ran around killing stuff with no one in the hack so I know it worked.

What if all 4 people get out of the hack as soon as the host starts it. Would it work?

Your omnitool will be glowing, and you'll get the "x players uploading" whether or not you got it to work, but the host will be able to tell if the game is actually counting you or not.

But the time still goes by at the same amount of time it should. It's only the feed reporting the wrong number of people.

TOPIC:  So I just had a fun little match against the geth with my melee Valkyrie.  The dodge stagger came in real handy against some hunters and pyros who had their eyes on our Krolord and his volus buddy.  I couldn't seem to pull it off reliably against the hunters (maybe one out of every three tries).  Do they have some kind of stagger resistance I'm unaware of or am I just having stupid hands again?  It seems like stagger locking geth with an all asari squard would be a fun way of paying them back for two years of stunlock rage gelling.

Thanks. Have learnt something. Can one call it general force mechanics? Never thought about its effects before.

I didn't know you could do that. Have never tried repeatedly dodging on a phantom though.

Lol. My explanation still doesn't make sense to you? Sorry. Education has failed you.
