Hanar, werewolves are usually ABLE to talk. You see, NORMALLY, werewolves are humans who have been bitten by another werewolf, or a regular wolf, then becomes one themselves (usually at midnight). The Mad Hanar wrote...

In a series in which werewolves play a large role.

Your argument is invalid.
They are still wolves, damn it!

See, when a human is bitten by a vampire, the human becomes a vampire.
Why wouldn't a human become a wolf if the human got bitten by a werewolf?!

In Dragon Age, lycanthropy doesn't stem from being bitten by a regular wolf.

No talking animals. This is one of the underlying rules for the Dragon Age universe, and it includes dragons. Closest we've come to breaking that rule is the desire demon illusion in the Shale adventure (which was technically a talking cat), but it's never going to be a thing otherwise.
So, yes, all dragons must be monsters.
So theirs no way that we can have a dragon friend like the one (Paarthurnax) in Skyrim? I'm depressed now.

Thanks for clarifying... We already have Skyrim & the Hobbit fulfilling the role of powerful, intelligent talking dragons....

You're breaking your own argument. They would become werewolves, not wolves. Werewolves are still not animals. The Mad Hanar wrote...

So, I take it we can assume that for all entities which speak and have multiple forms, any animal form they might have isn't their natural form? This would apply to the Old Gods, assuming they actually do speak, for which there is some evidence...David Gaider wrote...

Then why is the whole "dragons coming back to Thedas, they are our ancient GODS!" in the comics if they are just gonna be dumb mute beasts?
Yeah, really.
Servant 1: Hey, Dragon! Where do you want us to put your statue?
Dragon: ROAR!
Servant 2: What's that supposed to mean?
Servant 1: ¯\\_(ツ)_/¯

To quote Finn from Witch Hunt: "Dragons are big and powerful and breath fire! Some people are easily impressed."

Thanks for the info, Mr. Gaider. By the way, I think that the Old Gods are supposed to look like dragons, but not actually be dragons. This is how we can get the animals with the Dragons we kill, and yet have intelligence with the Old Gods.
@Cig Ooh, I like that theory. Works for me!

Ram a sword through their heads and they aren't that powerful.

No, I guess I'll have to be cool with mute dragons.
As far as the Old Gods speaking, they may have only looked like dragons. They may have created dragons in their own image or something.
