They put one specific game on a crazy cheap sale on xmas day (I think) and getting onto their site was pretty much impossible for hours.  It was kind of funny.  It's been fine since until today as far as I know. 

I'm not the biggest steam fan in the world (not their bad just how other game companies use them, mostly) so I don't play a whole heck of a lot of games with them; they could have had problems in the days since that I wouldn't have noticed.  But I've been playing the Civ series since the first game came out in '91 so I do Civ it up (even if Firaxis went on my poo list with how they released the game through steam).

I like steam for the convenience. Downloading, backing and deleting when I want to clear out the SSD. I also buy game codes from other stores if steam is too expensive at the time.

See, what's irritating about all this DRM BS is;  what if I didn't have any interest in Multiplayer and wanted to continue my Single Player Shepard campaign?  Guess what?  You can't.

Imma have to turn the xbox off for awhile (or actually switch games). I keep compulsively hitting that Y button hoping for connections and I'm reminded of that watched pot cliche my grandma used to throw at me. Too bad I can't just go back to my SP games since DLC check and all.

Hell, I'm looking for my Fallout 1 disc. I'm gonna install it as soon as I find it. BEST RPG EVER!
