Any Verison of Enterpise

Enterprise you say? How so? And does this include the Reboot Enterprise from the JJ Abrams movies?

To go with my OP and theme I'd throw in the Andromeda Ascendant with full payload

yes.

from what I do know about her respective crews and captians, She would have  a different solution in defeating the Reapers. It depends on the era in how they defeat the Reapers.

Any of the Star Craft, Warhammer 40K and Star Wars Races would be able to defeat the Reaper fleet in a straight fight. The only one that would have to worry is the UNSC, who don't have barriers but have guns strong enough to stop Reapers. The Covenant would outmatch them in firepower since the ME Universe has little defence against plasma weapons.

Where is a lightsaber when you need one?

You'd need a giant lightsaber to fight off Harbinger.........

Either that or set him on a date with Jack Harkness..... Or invite The Doctor to fix the reaper issue.

Maybe he could recruit them for scientology, they'd be unstoppable :D

Well, at least they'd be excited about being alive.

The Reapers are ridiculously strong only in its own universe, because ME tech is pretty mundane compared to other universes. In any case, cross universe comparisons that rely on different flavors of magic frankly doesn't make sense.

I think you guys are really missing a gold mine of possibility here.  One reaper was taken out by a giant grub worm on Tuchunka.  We don't need technology to save us.

The Sarlaac could beat a Reaper.  Also... Godzilla - he's Earth's protector and keeps the balance, you know?

I would have said the Earthworms in Tremors, too.  But then I realized they were killed by Kevin Bacon.

.... Hey, Kevin Bacon could take on a Reaper!

If the Thresher Maws ever started developing technology the Reapers would be screwed.

I'd say the Reapers would lose against the Doomsday Machine from Star Trek or a Budong from Farscape, since both would probably eat them for breakfast (literally) in space-combat. Sadly, there's only one of the former (and the TOS crew killed it) and the latter are supposed to be rare, so while they'd win in single combat, the Reapers would probably overwhelm them by sheer force of numbers.

On the ground, I'd like to see a Reaper versus Shai-hulud from Dune, since they can range anywhere from the length of a Diplodocus, to that of Kalros and a Reaper Destroyer, all the way to being the same size as Harbinger.

The only way I could see Superman beating a Reaper Ship is by using his laser eye beams to cut through the Reaper's armor (ME ships have little defence against energy attacks) then ripping it apart from the inside. However, he would be vulnerable to indoctrination.

Has anyone ever thought about how the races of THGTTG universe would fare against the Reapers? Most of the non-human races in there with a space military could probably wipe out all the reapers in a day, since beams and missiles that can destroy Earth are common military armament.

I'd love to see the Vogons and their constructor fleet face the Reapers

I don't know about races, but the Death Star would've been a much better weapon than the Crucible! In fact, I was expecting something similar, only to be disappointed.

Off the top of my head, for factions that would defeat the Reapers no matter what.....

Any faction in Star Wars:
Empire
Rebels
Yuuzhan Vong
Old Sith Empire
Exar Kun's Sith Empire

Revan's Sith Empire
Sith Triumvirate
Any incarnation of the Galactic Republic
The Hutts
The Black Sun
The Zann Consortium
The CIS
The New Republic
The Imperial Remnant
The Galactic Alliance
Fel Empire
etc, etc, etc

Any major 23rd century and beyond factions in Star Trek
Federation, Klingons, Romulans, Dominion, Borg, etc, etc, etc

And Warhammer faction:
Orks, Necrons, Imperium of Man, etc, etc, etc

Covenant
Forerunners
Flood

Those are just the mainstream ones.

Now on tothe fun ones
Xeelee
Culture
Futurama
Marvel
DC
etc,etc,etc

The point being, the Reapers are weaker than most sci-fi/fantasy factions that exist.

Oh, please, the only difference between a Shai-Hulud and Kalross is that Kalross doesn't poop mind-and-space-time-altering 'Spice.'
