They didnt have to nerf it that bad? I can imagine what they were thinking "Oh you guys want a nerf? Oh we'll give you your nerf...dealwithit"

Even with the dps drastically reduced it was still considered OP. It was a result of people crying about it in threads back in the days. That was the era of the great complaints and cry babies. Some weapons and kits were nerfed to the point of disgust and uselessness. The people cried for nerfs and biower answered. Thing is that they cried more because they didn't like the plate that was served:mellow:

Do you even remember those days? Do you remember how many lobbies were filled with 2-3 Krysae Infiltrators? It was
a plague... It dominated the metagame because it was super noob friendly and had the best DPS in the game.. the damn thing didn't even require aiming.. and you could double tap it with the zoom they removed.

 

Derperus Trollon, HurrDurricane, Derperus Carrier, Reetard Carbine, PPR (Imma firin' mah laz0r) and so on is almost the same. And they were never nerfed.

I never knew those weapons could 1 shot an entire spawn of gold level mobs.

They shouldn't have made it in the first place.  Same for Reegar. 

Yea I agree. But i guess bioware got tired of BSN's crying.  But still I think thet were trolling when they nerfed it to complete uselessness

It's not bad on TSol. 3 slow shots, instant reload, 3 more faster than original RoF. Also refire time works hand  in hand perfectly with CS....    Shoot, CS, shoot, CS etc..

Add in cryo shatter evos on CS -- decent way to burn some of that 255 level 4 cryo ammo!

Plus - Roleplay. It's a turian weapon

I remember you were rocking it while I was still using the SI Widow lol

I have no memory of this... Unless it was in the FBW/G/G days... and even then I only used it for a short while. It made then game no fun for me even if someone else was using it in the same lobby. It wasn't an issue of score because I didn't know the 'value' of a high sscore... Or how to do so. It was because there was simply nothing left for anyone else to kill because the Krysae infiltrator nuked them all with his Carnage launcher.

It allowed Bahroo and Clueless_Paladin to solo Plat on day 1 right after the release... Redjohn however, did it with a Krogan/Claymore later in the day.

Because it was funny how he could run in circles around enemies who didn't have enough horse power to kill him and he call it skill 

I am pretty sure everyone has heard that song and dance a million times by now.  Does it really bear repeating again and adding nothing to a discussion?  Let it die.

The gun got so many nerfs that nobody remembers the patch that nerfed its shieldgate penetration.

They really couldn't have restored it to its former stats after that?

you can probably see why it needed to be nerfed from what it was.  If you think you see a lot of juggernauts and TGI/Harriers then you would have no idea what to do with yourself with the amount of Krysae Infiltrators that used to populate lobbies.
