This place disgusts me. Especially now with the increment of otakus.
You seem to have a lot of obsessive interests in this digusting place, sis.
It was a decent place...once.
It still very is one, you choose to open up threads like this or involve yourself in participating, no?
There are more people here who choose to watch animated shows over non-animated ones. Clearly that led to this site's downfall.
At least you accept it.

I gotta agree we still exploded planets and other places in ME2 we just did it view drop of point instead of driving around in a mako. Though I do miss the sense of scale that came with th ose drives, even if the environments weren't that thrilling.spirosz wrote...

Going to copy and paste planets = a sense of exploration? Interesting. You call that inventory an RPG element, I call it a terrible execution of an RPG "element" and the stats were very well done in ME3 or do you choose to ignore that?
I call foul on the loss of the inventory as a whole though.

I'd argue ME3 did the best job concerning certain "RPG" elements, even though the auto dialogue lead away from roleplaying my Shepard the way I wanted to, but that element is subjective anyway.
What I mainly look for in western RPGs is the ability to create different builds. I never really felt like I could do that very much in all three of the games. I feel that ME3 did the best job in regards to that and ME1 did fairly well. ME2? Not so much. I feel that the dialogue is the best in the second game, however. Overall, I feel that if a game does something weak in this series, it is done well in another game. That's why I feel they usually rate this as a trilogy as opposed to rating the individual games. All the games are good, but flawed, games. I can easily see people choosing any one of the three games as their favorites as they all offer something different, but I don't feel like any one of these games alone truly deserves the title of a masterpiece.

I agree. Each have their strengths, it's just sad from my perspective that I was able to replay the first two so many times, where I couldn't touch the story a second time in ME3, I tried - didn't work. I might one day though.

Lol, this guy. People who usually call others virgins are in most cases, virgins themselves. Not saying you are, but acting all mighty because you choose to not be interested in a certain aspect that the game delivers is hilarious to read.

lol @ ME1 being a top ten game.
Sure, it had a good story, but it reused environments over and over again, and the combat was extremely dodgy.
To be fair there is a perfectly logical reason for those reused maps from a narrative standpoint, though I don't believe for a second there thought process was in that direction. Just drive through any subdivision anywhere and you'll see what I mean.
And I think ME has as much right as any to be considered.

Yeah, I realized my post, and really, my participation in this thread has made me seem like I don't like the games, but I do really think they are good games. It's just that I've played these games so many times I can see their issues, and I'm kind of jaded because of that. I also feel that the story is great, but other games do their gameplay better, and I consider gameplay to be the most important thing in a game.

I didn't even use the word virgin as an insult, but it's pretty obvious that a guy that cares about Tali's sweat is...well...virgin.

That's the ****tiest Top 'X' games of 'X' list I've ever seen.
Mass Effect is a top ten series, personally, but when it's got competition like fething Rock Band 3, Halo 4, a bunch of forgettable indie games and random stuff like Mirror's Edge and Batman: Arkham City, no wonder it grabbed the top spot.
LIMBO is a forgettable indie game?

Judging by the fact that you used the word otaku right after my post, and I was around during the good days, people like me couldn't have been that bad of an influence. Though judging by the fact that you're the one being a troll and straying off-topic, maybe people like me aren't the problem in the first place, eh?
