I wish we could still make polls, but that is illegal now, so let's just post the answers in here.
I will alwas choose the mage archetype. It has to do with my internal psyche. I see mages as incalculable fonts of POWER. They are not normal and mundane. Anyone can learn to use a sword or sneak around to varying degrees. But there is something more innate about a mages power. It does not rests in their weapons or armor, they ARE the Power!
They also have far more varied powers, where a warrior or rogue do variations on stick pointy metal stick "here," mages kind of bring to bare the power of creation, molded be sheer will into being. I just can't compare that to some brutish warrior, and so I choose mages. But I am clearly not the majority. So tell us all what YOU prefer to play and why.
Which archetype do you prefer to play in DA? (warrior / rogue / mage)

I always go with a mage. Even in other games, that's the class I always go with. I don't know, I just like the idea of using magic, and the different spells that they can do are just awesome. I have tried to play both a rogue and warrior in the past DA games, but I can never stick with it. Although an archer sounds fun, I'm just not sure how I would like it.

I'm almost always either a dual weapon rogue or a primal/elemental mage.

In DA:O, I played Warrior, mage, and rogue. Warrior, because female humans can become queen, Mages because I like thyat class, and rogues simply for a new way to play.
In DA 2, I played only as a mage. At least Hawke's dissapearance at the end of the game now makes sense.
In DA:I, I will start out as Mage. Other classes depending upon story.

I always play a mage and I will in Inquisition too. However I love the rogue class in DA. Warrior is my least favorite...

I actually like all of the classes- it really depends on my mood at the time that determines which I like the best at the moment.
That, and the way the classes were played were very different from DA0 - DA2. I admit, I liked the new change in classes, especially the Rogue.

I will say, at least rogues have an element of something uncommon about them with the stealth mechanics. It's not JUST stick pointy rod here.

I always play the mage then a rouge but mage for DAO and DA2 was my favorite class to play as I just like the way the mage feel and how everyone hate and fear me but I still do so much good it has to get people thinking

Depends how the gameplay is. For Origins, it was warrior. For DA2, well. No favourites there.

I like the mage best, in both games. I find myself switching to playing a mage party member a lot after making a rogue or warrior.

DW rogues have been my favorites in both games, though I'd had fun with archer builds as well (mostly in DA2). That said, I miss the more stealth-tactical playstyle we had in DA:O.
Mages next, and while I like them, I've always felt a bit limited as compared to the breadth of abilities you have in, say... D&D.
I've actually played a fair number of warriors as well, but are easily the least interesting. Though in DAI they're definitely trying to make them more tactically interesting. The more I see, the more I like...

In DAO I preferred rogue, though my canon Warden is a warrior.
In DA2 I preferred mage. Honestly, I found it either difficult or boring to play as anything else.
In DAI I hope to play as a rogue again.

Melee rogues.
I like close combat, but prefer moving around and wreaking havoc with confusion, sabotage, evasion, and whatnot...
I have love for the other two classes too, though.

Mage or rogue. Depends on the gameplay and story. I liked rogues in DA2 but the story felt like it was catered to a mage so that's my canon playthrough. I don't think I have ever played a warrior from beginning to end in any rpg ever.

I prefer warrior. I just prefer to run up to the enemy and smash them with a sword. Also I like to show up those fancy-smancy mages and rouges who think they're better than everyone else just cause they can use parlor tricks or hide behind stuff. Although I also like the magic knight aspect, that's why I always try to specialize in Reaver.

I tend to play rouges or warriors in Dragon Age. Only one of my six PCs in all of my runs over all DA games has been a mage. Both of my first two wardens were dual wielding warriors and my main Hawke was a rogue so... rogue I guess?

I have no preference. In Origins rogues sucked, and I didn't want to play a ranged rogue (though I got used to playing ranged, and one of my imports is a ranged rogue). However, in DA2, rogue was the strongest class, and made it fun to play. I generally prefer the idea of a damage-dealer/off-tank warrior, but in practice, I'll play any class.

Mage generally, but I do enjoy a rogue now and then. My main DA:O character had to be a rogue cause I had to be a Cousland for my fairytale ending. I prefer playing casters in every fantasy game, generally healers.

I usually prefer playing as a mage, but have played each class in each game. Most likely will try all in DA I but it will depend on the skills for the different classes. I'm really hoping for a lot more depth to each ability (more upgrades)
If I had to rank them it would be Favorite > Least Liked
DAO Mage, Melee Rogue, Two Hand Warrior, S & B Warrior, Archer Rogue
DAO A Mage, Archer Rogue, S & B Warrior, Melee Rogue, Two Hand Warrior
DA II Mage, Two Hand Warrior, Archer Rogue, Melee Rogue, S & B Warrior

In DAO, I loved the rogues, especially the Rangers. In DA2, I loved the Warriors. However, I loved playing Bethany, Merill, and Anders the most.

I don't know that I prefer one over the other
In DA:O I almost exclusively played a Warrior, which had a weighty kind of feel to it. Just smash a darkspawn in the face with your shield during a battle and then one shot them. It was awesome.
In DAII I played a Mage most often. Loved the raw destructive power that attacks like (firestorm?) or Winters Grasp made me feel. It certainly was different than the warrior, but almost equally enjoyable.
In DA:I I'm going to probably focus on Rogues.
I think I loved the one shot kills of Origins, the destructive power of the mage and the speed of the rogue. So I dunno, probably warrior because it requires a bit of strength/awareness.

First play through on origins was a 2 handed warrior but I've played them all and I enjoyed each
