My opinion is the CAR is the best among them... I like it's accuracy, steady muzzle rise makes for easy headshots, works well with power spam and I think it looks cool. Honorable mention to the Falcon and the Argus.
Also: inb4 Striker/Adas on a Destroyer, inb4 Kook defending missile glitching, inb4 OP can't inb4.
In your opinion, what is the best Rare Assault Rifle and why?

I'd probably go with the Argus. It's got some fairly solid damage if you manage to hit anything with it, and I rather like using it on my Justicar.

Its the Adas for me, stagger and good ammo primer.

Argus. Though I like the Falcon & Adas as stagger sticks, I can't take them seriously while the Venom exists. None of the rest of that class does what I consider respectable damage, and the wild kick on the Argus can be controlled with repetition, Turian passives, stability mods, etc, in order to get the most out of it.

Recoil is easily manageable.
The biggest drawback is the spread, but that can be solved with turians.

The CAR, Argus and maybe the GPR are the only two of them that actually feel like assault rifles. The rest feel like novelty guns. I tend not to spec kits so they rely on ammo powers so the utility of the Adas and the Falcon is less for me than for some. The Revenant, Striker and Argus all feel like they need accuracy/stability kits for me to get the best out of them. Reluctantly I'd say the CAR is my favourite but generally the assault rifles category seems to stumble badly in the space between the uncommons and the ultra rares.

I prefer the argus, assuming it has a scope and recoil system shoved on it. Good damage, good accuracy, burst firing and recoil system mitigates recoil issues. I dislike the collector ar, revenant, and geth pulse rilfe for damage issues. My asssault rifles aren't very upgraded though, so that may change. I haven't really tried the striker because of the stigma attached to it. And I find the travel time on the adas and falcon annoying. So yeah. The argus for me.

Probably Argus.
I'm a little surprised to see so much love for the CAR. Personally I find GPR superior because of its better accuracy, headshot modifier, larger magazine and significantly lower weight. You can kills lots of things without having to reload which compensates for its burst DPS being the same as CAR's sustained reload-cancelled DPS.
