2. Collector Assault Rifle
3. Argus
4. Revenant
5. Falcon
6. Geth pulse rifle
7. Striker
Numbers 3-6 are all pretty much the same though, they all have a different niche.

Argus with headshots is actually fantastic.....
Still prolly gonna have to go with the Falcon though, simply because of the nostalgia I get from using it (no, not the days of 120 ROF).
honorable mention to the Adas and Argus
What?
The thing had 120 ROF?!
No.
It was 125.

Did it have more ammo?
A bit more, yeah.
And a lot of people kept insisting it's not OP and mustn't be nerfed...

That's easy. The adas is my favourite. I never use any of the other rare ARs (unless I'm missile glitching with the striker).
Why is the Adas your favorite?
I really like the feel of it and the way it fires. It sounds nice too. I love what it does to phantoms. I only use it with marksman or hunter mode, with a high fire rate it becomes much better. And it doesn't require good aim or headshots, you don't have to worry about missing shots.
I tried the falcon for the first time ever earlier...wow...that gun sucks so much. Definitely the worst weapon I've ever used.

Oh, that's not an option?
Um...
Revenant. Highest DPS. Recoil and inaccuracy can be compensated for by adding thermal scope and Turian. You can snipe across Dagger with a scoped Revenant on a Turian in hard cover.
Second place goes to thermal scoped Argus. Second highest DPS, decent punch, scope fixes the inaccuracy on second and third shot, and it doesn't require Turian stability passives (though they certainly help).

Woah, I just noticed. The Adas is the only projectile weapon with an armor penalty (according to kalence's ME3 builder). I always thought people put AP mods on it because they were scrubbin' it up, but apparently it does do something.
~THE MORE YOU KNOW~
Those folk with AP mods on their Adas were scrubbing it up. Weapon mods can't change a guns defence multipliers so the AP mods make no difference to how well the Adas deals with armour.
OT: Probably the Falcon, mainly because I don't particularly like any of the other options.

According to this spreadsheet made by Cyonan, the adas has an armour damage multiplier of 1X, which is normal, but doesn't ignore armour damage reduction, unlike the falcon and striker.cato_84 wrote...

That would mean that it does benefit from AP, surely?

That's correct. Cato seems to be under the impression that Adas had a negative defense multiplier.Evil Mastered wrote...

If this spreadsheet was made by anyone else, I'd think it was an error.N7didacus wrote...

But this is Cyonan. I can't beleve he'd make an error and not spot it and fix it long before we spotted it, it must be right.
Innate piercing... I wonder if it could get entry-exit wounds on bosses if equipped with both AP mods?

Anyone know of a difficulty where guardians spawn on wave 1?

Cerberus platinum wave 1, really?!
Nope, not really.
I just checked Cyonan's spreadsheet on wave compositions which is full of errors. Then I checked some plat vids and found no Guardians there.
My bad
