 I've been hearing the game has been leaked. You might want to avoid Gamefaqs and any other forum just incase. It was inevitable sadly, and I can only hope the pirates get a gamebreaking bug.

Now that that's out of the way, I don't think most Pirates are bad, many I've been in contact with download pirated copies for many reasons, some just want to see if it will work beings most games don't have demos anymore, others want to try it out before buying, yet you will always have a portion that just want a ripped off game. The thing about the current trend in gaming though is they're finally getting around it by way of DLC. None of the pirates will have access to any of it most of the time since one you need an account to download it and from what I understand it checks if your game is a valid copy before it installs with most of the recent DLC in games. Many pirates will buy the game eventually as they wish to have access to it.



I have to say that I'm one of the people that grabs games off torrent sites simply to try em out before buying. I've saved a lot of money throughout my time as many games I would have blindly thrown money at, but once I tried em they were crap. Just my two cents

After what happened with ODST i am really scared of spoilers i am going to try to make ME2 my first non-spoiled game it a while

Wal-Marts in Canada also apparently broke the street date. So it's not just pirates, it's the evil of Wal-Mart rearing its head.

Yeah, people are reporting legit leaks for both PC and Xbox360. Even tho the wait for ME2 is killing me (and near getting me to softmod my xbox and just download it), I'll have to hang low and avoid some sites like 4chan, gamefaqs, ... and hope for some intensive moderation here.

Another forum and from another poster. My information's coming secondhand, so it could be wrong. However, I imagine BioWare was canny enough not to release the game to anyone who might pirate it, so if pirates have since released it, it seems likely that the original pirated copy came from a retailer who broke the release date.

I am a regular on GameFAQ's, so my advice would be to listen to the OP. That place will be spoiler-packed within a few hours. Some trolls will even make a legit looking topic with epic spoilers inside. These same people will be posting these spoilers on other game's boards, so I would steer clear of the entire site for a week.
