BW (EA) can't do that. All retailers not having the game in stock atm would give them an earful.

If you have your recipt it should work, I'd call and confirm with the staff at the store, in theroy it shouldn't matter when you get there, you gave them money to buy the game in you name, so they have to have it for you, if not I'd raise a giant stink.

I honestly doubt it, EA has never been big on copy protection.. ever. But it does NOT matter. Everbody who want's to "download" the game, or any "leechers" or "pirates" most of them have either already purchased the game, or will purchase it.

What people don't realize is the "pirate" exscuse on why games aren't selling is just a bunch of crap. 90% of pirate will purcahse the game to support the company. (if that game is good )

Why do you think they spent extra time tweaking the PC version, and make sure its realease the same day at the xbox version? So it can be pirated ? nah, because the first ME1 sold that many copies.

Pirates know a good game when they see it.

This is not always true. In fact, more often pirates do not purchase games they get than do. Sad, but at least some have the decency to buy the game if they pirated it.

If you look on your recipt it says that new release items will be held for 48hrs, that recipt is a bill of sell, they have to give you what they promised you.

Yes thats true, but games such as "Dark Void" aren't worth 50$ imo. So they can leech that garbage all day long.

Same here the only reason I pre ordered was for the special stuff and I might as well buy a bit more for the CE.

Dracofulcrum: I rarely buy collector's editions, but with all the goodies they give (even more that Dragon Age), how could I pass that up: Bonus armor/rifle, comic book, artbook and a dvd with making of videos.



I actually enjoy watching making ofs (I think I watched the LOTR making ofs on the extended DVDs more than the movies themselves )

Just swung by my GameStop on the way home from work tonight and they have had their copies since yesterday. They're not letting go of them until 12:01 AM on Tuesday however, which works for me since I scheduled PTO for Tuesday.

Unfortunately, I also discovered that they screwed up my pre-order and I'm going to be stuck w/ the standard 360 edition instead of the CE unless they somehow wind up getting extras shipped to them between now and then . Half tempted to just cancel my pre-order and go on the quest for shelf CEs, but I never seem to have any luck with that approach. Would I be crazy to buy a PC CE and a standard edition for 360? I really dig the art books and making of myself as well, the armor and gun look a bit meh to me...

I can remember driving to every WalMart in a 25 mile radius looking for a pre-street date copy when they broke ME1's, but no luck around these parts. I think I'll just be patient.

Guys, quit asking questions. Chris already said he was going to ban people if they gave spoilers and I think the same rule should stand for people requesting them. Just stop. Every single thread is going to get closed if people don't quit asking questions. If you want spoilers just go to Gamefaqs and get them from there. If you only want some spoilers and not others then just wait. It isn't going to kill you.
