I don't remember any weapons being included in the signature edition but I remember having trouble accessing bonus items that included Hayder's razor and the staff of Parlathan. If that's to what you're referring I wound up having to Google it to find out how to access them. Those didn't cost me anything. The 2 class packs cost a few bucks each and can be purchased as dlc. These were weapons like Malcolm's honor and the empress' point and companion-specific magic items. Hope this helps.

As the OP said, there were five items exclusive to the signature edition: Apostate's Courage, Seeker's Bulwark, Adder of Antiva, Might of the Sten and Ring of Resilience.

Sorry about that, how did you access them?

Oh.  I only bought the game for myself when I bought it in May and the codes didn't work.  I had to go through a few hoops to get everything other than the vanilla game to work.  I still haven't got the Blood Dragon Armor to work but I'll live.  I only remember having to Google everything.

Adder of Antiva bow in particular is overpowered. It does 64 base damage, has +5% speed and +13 nature damage bonus, has a rune slot and no stat requirements. It murders pretty much anything in act 1. Loot items will only surpass it after the Deep Roads.

There's no other way to get the signature edition items aside from entering the code and registering your content with your BSN account. On the plus side however, the items are only really useful in act one and honestly your can get some decent items equaling the promo ones just by playing. If you've got the Black Emporium working the items you gain there will do you nicely. If you don't mind buying the weapon packs contain weapons that lvl with you negating you having to buy or loot any more.

Lastly if you get the 'Legacy' dlc you can get a special weapon for Hawke (Hawke's key) which can be exploited to give a super powerful version of the weapon, although I recommend saving all of the dlcs until the last act to get the strongest versions of the weapons/equipment.
