*chuckles*

It's quite simple, really. The individual threads of hte actual dress are really geometrically repeating semi-helix structures of ice crystals arranged according to hydrogen bonding into thread-like arrays which, thanks to Elsa's power over cold, can seemlessly interweave like true thread would. Whenever a necessity for shifting like true fabric occurs, a special message is sent to ice "rods" on a microscopic level to temporarily take liquid form yet continue to maintain hydrogen bonding while allowing the dress "fiber" to shift. So long as this is done at a high enough frequency, comparable to regular muscle fibers of several thousand times a second, it is easy to maintain the same effect as regularly shifting fabric.

Heh, its hardly practical either. The cold may have never bothered her anyway, but you've gotta feel something when your literally wearing ice.

I think she's completely immune to it. Like, I'm trying to imagine the best way it could work.

She should be able to feel the sensation of cold, but "the cold never bothered me anyway" tells me she's never actually suffering from too much of it.

I'll just tell myself its magic(the unexplainable) and let it go, let it go

Not as if you can waste a perfectly good cake just because someone bust it.

That was probably a delicious ass cake too

By the way, I probably should've linked this in the OP. Gonna do so now.

I actually played the first little game on the site, and it was pretty good. :P

Funny that those free flash games are more amusing than the retail 3DS game. If only film tie ins could be decent these days.

The Frozen content on Disney Infinity doesn't look so bad, if a bit simple. Targeted at kids, afterall.

I guess if you were after some decent Frozen gaming content, you'd be waiting on a Kingdom Hearts game. I've never touched that series, but I probably would just for that.

I'm getting Kingdom Hearts 3 regardless, but I want Arendelle in it soooo bad

I also hope they make Elsa a recruitable ally after you complete the Arendelle world, instead of something lame like Olaf.

Not that Olaf is lame, but c'mon. If you had a choice between the two...

Missed that gallery. Was this one in the film? I mean obviously the scene was, but I don't remember the torch, or Elsa being all sassy. I would have remembered that.

And yup, Elsa's the obvious choice. Any excuse to see more of her powers.

BSN?
(Knocking)
Do you wanna talk about Frozen?
Come on lets discuss away
There's no posters anymore
No need to be a bore
It's like you've gone AFK
We used to be best buddies
And now we're not
I wish you would tell me why
Do you wanna talk about Frozen?
It doesn't have to be about Frozen (It kind of does)

'Go away, Earthbound.'

Okay, bye...

I love the colors people are using for their Frozen fan art. Even the speed paints are awesome.

I love the blending colour palette, in the film it even managed to make something as simplistic as the sky look constantly beautiful.

But then I can't even word how much I love the animation overall. If Disney stuck with this style for all their films, I doubt I'd ever tire of it.

I think thats their plan. They're not going to be doing hand-drawn animation anymore, they're moving forward with this.

I'm cool with it. Its progression. Which means when we're old and we've got our respective grandchildren to tell stories to, we'll talk about the hand drawn animated movies of our childhoods and they'll be like, "Thats so OOOOOOLD"

Alan Tudyk (Wash) doing VA work doesn't really surprise me anymore and I'm not sure if there's a recent animated feature that doesn't include Maurice LeMarche (Kiff and Morbo, just off the top of my head) ...

but oh look
there's mance rayder voicing the troll king

Ironically enough, The King Beyond The Wall can't escape the cold even in movies. hahaha

Oops, totally thought I had the guy voicing Pabbie the troll down. Turns out I was wrong.
My fault for still not having watched GoT.

Read A Song of Ice and Fire first. Then watch Game of Thrones, which will let you appreciate Pabbie The Troll King some more. :P

Might I interject my experience with Frozen here?

I loved Tangled a ton, I laughed, I cried, I enjoyed myself immensely. But Frozen, Frozen moved me. I shed tears each time I watch that film. Manly tears of feelers, but by the gods, TEARS! I'm not entirely certain I have ever loved a movie as much as I do this one. I mean, I have Elsa as my lock screen background and Anna as my regular background on my friggin' phone! What kind of grown ass man has girly Disney princesses on his mother-lovin' phone?!

I've seen it 3 times so far. Once with the roommates, once with a few female coworkers and once with the lady. I'm trying to figure out who else I know that might want to see it so I can go a fourth time without feeling like a creepy lonely dude going to see a girly family movie.

Seriously though, I love absolutely everything about Frozen, the characters, the pacing, the relationship between the sisters, the music, the art, the TWIST. Oh man, that twist blew me the f*** away! I was in the theater and turned to my roommates, my chin dragging on the dirty theater floor. I was not expecting Disney to throw that at me, at all. Damn Frozen is so good!

Ugh, I want to see it again! Image IPB

I don't know anything about this movie so could someone explain why one sister has ice powers and the other doesn't?. Does the other sister have fire powers but its dormant until someone she loves is in danger and her full power is unleashed or something?
