Got roughly 4 days until the HD Download arrives - Anticipation Intensifies. There's certainly been enough hyping over the last.... 4 months or so? I'd been spoiled a while back on the main storyline bits, but I'll likely enjoy it nearly the same anyhow. Did the same thing for quite a few video games and it didn't necessarily ruin them.

Took my friends daughter today to watch Frozen (one of the last viewing here) and I noticed something quite interesting about Hans in the movie. Hans is a type of a "mirror" character, who reflects the way people are around him.

Think about it; when he is with Anna he is kinda goofy and clumsy, like Anna herself. With Elsa he takes on a powerful but concerning attitude, and with the Duke his tone is more aggressive and dominative. And the only scene where he ever actually truly is himself is when he sees his own reflection in a mirror.

Oh and in case anyone wondered if my friends daughter enjoyed Frozen, yes she sure did.

Yeah, I read about the mirror thing on tumblr. Makes watching the film again more interesting. Oh, and glad to hear the little one was interested.

Heh, stumbled upon it myself just minutes ago. Though this poster also noted that Elsa uses gloves to hide her powers and who she really is, while Hans basically does exactly the same. 

Indeed, rewatching movies and capturing small details like these are always fun.

Makes you really appreciate the intricacy. Kids won't catch that stuff generally, so it makes rewatching the old ones super cool.
