The fandom's definitely settled on the cubchoo/beartic line for Elsa.

Anna seems as of yet undecided, who'd have thought.

He'd excel at throwing enemies and have fall damage decreased by 95%.

She should be proud. There aren't so many of those. Non-villainous ones anyway.

Its Sunday. At some point in the next few hours we'll know where Frozen's sitting in the worldwide gross list. Regardless of where it is there will be articles about it. Either a billion today, or clooose.

*SPOILERS*
Wheel_of_Fate wrote...
I felt a lot of songs were unoriginal, unnecessary, and filler material to make the movie go forward. They didn't really add much to the plot.
Except they did.

Frozen Heart establishes the general premise and themes of the movie; the symbolic nature of ice representing both beauty and danger, struggle between love and fear and while also referencing Elsa, her powers and her inner battles.

Do You Want to Build a Snowman depicts the deteroating relationship between Anna and Elsa, how Anna's urge to spend time with her as before is denied due to Elsa's fear of her powers that lead to Anna being hurt. And despite the cheerful tone of the song it is very tragic b/c of their distant relationship and loss of their parents makes their isolation from each other and society very painful, and all Anna wants is to build a snowman as before with Elsa, to spend time with her.

For the First Time in Forever establishes a new phase in both of the sisters lives. For Anna it is eagerly escaping the seclusion of her life and being able to interact with the outside world. For Elsa it is a struggle, facing society while simultaneously trying to hide her powers.

Love is an Open Door is filled with subtle references and metaphors! The whole song serves as Hans own personal villain song which is disguised as a love song (to hide his true nature and intentions). Him claiming that he has been searching his whole life for his own place (while gesturing at Arendelle) shows how he claims Arendelle as his own serves as one indication, him acting like the perfect prince Anna wishes to meet just shows how he is manipulating Anna into making here love him.

And of course Let it Go perfectly displays Elsa's position; how she declares herself free from her solitude and all her stress and fears that has haunted her since childhood.

And I could go on, but don't see the need to since basically every song has a role in it. I have to disagree with you that the musical pieces in the movie are unoriginal. I found some significant differences in notation such as the melody line and rhythm, as well as the orchestration, tempo and mood in several of the song, which makes the soundtrack of Frozen quite original in its own right.
The plot in itself seems vague: there's this couple of girls of whom one has mysterious ice powers. How she got to possess these powers is never explained, unlike the power Rapunzel's hair has. Same with the troll creatures, which seemed to have been added just for...what, exactly? I don't know why, but to me, they seemed out of place. Also, why did their king have to wipe out Anna's memory when she got hit by Elsa's ice powers? It seems Anna had no problems whatsoever with her sister's magic, so why would she after she'd been hit by accident? Kids don't get traumatized from every little scratch they get in daily life, so why would she? It just seemed weird and illogical to me to wipe out someone's memories due to having been hit by a small blast of ice. This was better exectued and explained when Anna got hit in her chest, and she literally was freezing from the inside out, so no complaints there.
I agree that Elsa's power not being inherently explained is a bit weak, but I would hardly say that the overall plot of the movie is vague b/c of it, since the focal point of the story is not on how Elsa aquired her powers but living with it and what potential harm it can do.

I find it strange that you found the trolls out of place. Frozen is heavily influenced by Scandinavian culture, and trolls are supernatural beings from Scandinavian folklore. In Hans C. Andersen's story, a troll serve as the main antagonist that starts the events of the story, but in Frozen they serve as helpful creatures who aids Anna on her quest.

Why did the King wipe out Anna's memory? B/c he thought that was the rigth decision, and that's not unusual for a parent to hide things / incidents and hope it gets better that way. And sure, it was a small blast of ice, but as the trolls state; one hit in Anna's heart and she will die. The parents simply didn't want to take that risk. I wouldn't say what they did was right, but they thought what they did was the only option. And while they weren't present for much of the story, their deaths only further isolated Anna and Elsa, so their presence were not pointless.
Then there is Hans, whom I at first really liked. But since Disney decided Elsa can't be another stereotypical female villain and they thus re-wrote her character, Hans of course had to, by means of another magical Deus Ex Machina, turn out to become the villain of the story in the last couple of minutes. To me this just seemed like laziness on the writer's part. (...)
This sounds more like nitpicking on your part, not wishing to have had Hans be the villain of the story. Well I don't blame you, I also had hoped for him to be the good guy, but alas that wasn't the case.

I disagree on Hans' "transformation" being laziness on the writers part. I actually praise them for it and the way it is corporated into the movie makes sense. Hans being neglected by his brothers simply froze his heart emotionally which might have led to his cold personality which desired attention. He has a very ambitious nature and is simply one that would do anything to achieve power, even murder and forged marriages. Doesn't necessarily make him a good person, but that is not poor writing on the writers part.
As for Elsa, I quite liked her. But she made me think of an angsty emo-kid all too often in the beginning. Instead of trying to learn how to handle her powers, instead of looking up information and asking around, she stays into her room sulking all day.
Of course she conceals herself in soclusion when her parents told her it's the only way. She trusted her parents and when they died, she was left completely alone without any guidances and she was afraid to do anything about it in case she hurt anybody. Again, how you would do it is not necessarily how everyone would do it. Elsa didn't want to take that risk.

It's funny how you now state that a song in Frozen is good and fits into the given context. And what's wrong with the dress and how is it sl*tty in any way? There's no cleavage and only thing visible is perhaps her leg, but I would hardly call the dress as something overly revealing. I'd argue that other princess has more revealing outfits, e.g. Jasmine comes to mind.
I read a blog on how whole Elsa's situation is very similiar to the situation a lesbian teenager may find herself in, even.
Ok... cool?

Going by the numbers posted at the moment, Frozen surprisingly did not pass The Lion King this week. Bit of a drop off compared to lately. If I recall, Frozen went from 918 to 955 to 980.

That puts it in 19th place overall so far, behind The Lion King by a mere 7 million.

For now.
