I'll admit that I've never played a KH game, so I have no idea how they operate.

They're pretty well spread over different consoles, so I'll pick up one at some point.

Buy the HD re-releases on the PS3
They have KH 1 and RE: Chain of Memories on 1.5
and in 2.5 (Due out this fall) it has KH2 and Birth By Sleep Final Mix.
But in short, the worlds in KH are basically the plots of the movies they're based on just with Sora, Heartless and Nobodies thrown into the mix.
Heck in KH2 the world Based on Hercules has Auron from FFX as your party member. Not Hercules. AND IT'S AWESOME!

Alas, I'd need to pick up a PS3 too for that. Which I might just do actually. 

And then a next gen for KH3, le sigh. Frozen's inclusion would certainly make that more worthwhile.

I get the feeling the fandom at large doesn't think too highly of them, for their part in the whole 'conceal, don't feel' thing.

Hence not much art.
