I actually like it because it seems more like a typical argument between sisters. From Anna's point of view, Elsa just suddenly shuts Anna out for many years with no explanation then refuses to give her marriage a blessing. From Elsa's point of view, she endures all those suffering for Anna and she doesn't appreciate it at all and wants her to put the glove back on when she's finally free. This version of Anna and Elsa are more human-like since there's another song about Anna being jealous of Elsa for being queen. I really want to see the original draft though. Elsa being sassy and evil while Anna being jealous and selfish. That sounds more like a Chris Nolan movie instead of a Disney movie though.

The argument works, but I find Elsa ignoring the plight of the people (I mean, she's endangering lives with the whole eternal winter thing) because she has beef with her sister to be way out of character. Heh, Elsa's current one at least.
After all, she left Arendelle on account of its people and the danger her powers were causing them. The plot might have transpired a little differently in that particular draft though.
There is another version of this song called "Life's too short (reprise)". It takes place after Elsa was captured and Anna is freezing to death. They care about each other and realize that they were both wrong. It's very similar to the movie's version, so I don't think Elsa was straight out villain but more like unintentional villain in the early draft. People were being cruel to her due to the prophecy that she would doom the entire kingdom in snow and ice. She can't control her power, but at the same time, she doesn't want to put the glove back on because she puts her happiness first. I believe she gets pissed off when people keep blaming her for everything. I imagine that Elsa becomes devastated after hearing about Anna's "death", so she got captured, and that's when she becomes a redeemable villain. Based on the interviews and the deleted songs, the original draft sounds like a story about redemption for Elsa. Either way, Elsa was not supposed to be a straight out villain... except for earliest draft where Elsa were supposed to act like a drag queen.

Its probably a good thing that Elsa's the one with magic powers and not Anna if that's how she'd try to use them.

I would buy a copy if they would animate the scene. It just sounds too sassy.
Kingdom Hearts 3 needs to have Elsa as a summon or a companion. She's too awesome to not be one. A showdown between Elsa and Maleficent would just be super awesome.
This movie is the most anti-Disney you can think of. Prince charming being evil, true love is about family love, love at first sight is not true love (you have to be either starving for affection, shallow, or just have some other ulterior motives), the one in power is not evil. I can see why this movie make so much money.

Can I be the boring one reminding that it's having powers, and the accident when kids, is what made Elsa be so careful? So if Anna had powers she would be like Elsa with them and no more dangerous. Yes, I'm boring.
...although... being the younger sister... maybe she would become a bit more like the guy from Infamous Second Son? That could be fun.

Was about to agree, but no. If Anna had the powers, the 'accident' that defined her outlook would have been on a far grander scale. Somewhere between Arendelle going off the grid and nuclear winter.

I don't think Elsa had that much power as a kid, what's seen in the movie was probably as much as she could do at that age.

T'was but a jest.
But in all seriousness, I wouldn't actually put the former past either of them (the latter, okay no) given the right situation and regardless of their age.
