I've been looking at the list of top box office grossing movies of all time as well as some of the things that have the most views on youtube... I got to be honest, its really depressing to see what kind of movies/videos succeed over others. Don't get me wrong, I'm happy the movie has done well, I really am, but I wish people would focus much less on the actual numbers and success of the film and more on why it was something worth succeeding.

Valid opinion, but a lot of us already expressed our opinion on what made Frozen such great of a movie in the very first pages of this thread. Hence why we're rooting for the movie rising up the ranks, rather than echoing why it deserves to do so.

Dude, this movie doesn't deserve licking my leatherly backside.
The Biography of Justin Bieber is a more compelling movie than this movie-lenght sing-along for kids!!!
If I need cool ice people, I'll watch Batman&Robin with Mr. Freeze, the cool punsicle!

Yeah I get that. Personally I thought it was cool Disney finally broke that 1B dollar mark.
Its just Let It Go is already better then anything on this list, and that's not saying much ![]()
The top box office list is only slightly better.
The thing is I enjoy when something I like succeeds, but does the extent it succeeds actually really matter much? Would you be any happier if Frozen made 5Billion dollars and was #1 on the list compared to where it is now, and if so why? It just seems like it places emphasis on something that is based on poorer standards then the film actually deserves, but thats just me.

Really, when I look at it retroactively, there's only four good moments in the entire movie and that's the following four songs:
For The First Time In Forever (Reprise)
There's merit to the words that Frozen is just a musical with a movie around it. The story itself is about as rudimentary as it goes (Disney has done much better with other legends before) and the characters themselves are rather bland. Basically the only thing this movie has going for it is the music, which admittedly is word class, finally again back in the old Disney quality.

Sort of a cross between the two of them then.
Her parents are turning in their watery graves.
Damn it Titanfall I'm never going to take that word seriously again.

Naw, if it climbs some more, all the people who poured their heart into it might get a happy stroke. And that would mean no more goodness.
