Prince, just wondering, is this Highest Grossing film list adjusted for inflation?

 

Neigh. It's(the list) highest grossing with at-the-time values. People typically debate which is better(inflated or non-inflated), due to differences in ticket pricing, or time a film spent in theatres during their periods, etc etc. I just kept it simple and put up the list everyone is referencing when they put out that number.

 

The number you're seeing for Frozen(#5) is its place in non-inflated worldwide gross. Inflated numbers only exist for domestic buys, not worldwide buys. Inflated domestically(excluding everything outside the States and Canada), Frozen is #101 in history. Which really means nothing since most of its money came from outside the domestic market.

 

But I doubt anyone could comprise a list of inflated total worldwide grosses. That would be cool though.

Update-

 

Frozen won one of the awards it was nominated for at the Saturn Awards. Won Best Animated Feature, lost for Best Writing I believe. Frozen's up for another award at the Hugo's in August.

 

Also, Frozen's Anna, Elsa, and Kristoff have been casted for the live action ABC program Once Upon A Time-

 

Anna will be played by Elizabeth Lail

 

 

Kristoff will be played by Scott Michael Foster

 

 

And Elsa will be played by Georgina Haig

 

 

Season 4 of Once Upon A Time, debuting the Frozen characters, will be this Fall/Autumn, 8pm EST/EDT on ABC.

Having Frozen characters is a big deal for Once Upon a Time.

Unfortunately, I'm not a huge fan of the long format in television. I prefer shorter seasons of series with 45 minute episodes (about 6 to 12 episodes). I feel Once Upon a Time, and other long format shows, have too much filler to keep me interested.

It can feel dragging at points, yeah. But I like the commitment. I think it's been said the Frozen characters will be around for 9+ episodes or so this coming season? I could be wrong.

Story already introduced Elsa, Anna and Kristoff. Episodes later, Emma remarks to herself that the remainder of her sandwich is missing. Camera cuts to a room, an individual finishes a sandwich. Camera pans to reveal the Hans, who is busy playing a sad violin for himself, lamenting the failure of his previous plans. From the window, he sees the Frozen cast have too made it to Storybrooke.  Hans drops the bow in surprise, violin cuts out, fade to black. End episode.

 

Good to see you too support Hans in OUAT, Prince. Good script writing too.

He is too menacing to be included in the show. Even Regina and Rumpel would go all "Hot damn son! What you did in Arendelle is some nasty sh*t! You don't belong in this neighborhood." 

 

But in all seriousness though, would appreciate were he to be secretly be included in the show and be all "Surprise motherf*cker" and have the audience cry in terror.

He's a big fan? To be honest I would love to know more about him, make him a more layered character, maybe a shot at redemption. It's one of the few advantages a television series has over a film, there's more time to develop characters.

I also thought it was odd that Frozens other 3 main leads were appearing on Once Upon a Time but he was not so this news is welcome, at least to me .
