do elsa and anna get together in the end? i havent seen the movie but the ending was spoiled for me.. *grumble grumble*  Im not sure how to feel about the love between elsa and anna in the end. i mean its nice that disney is branching out and adding a samesex romance at the end of a big title story, but elsa being anna's princess in shining armor seems a bit out of place. there to me seems to be the thread of "being in a relationship will make you happy" that is so prominent in these cinderella stories, even if the kiss that wakes cinderella up in this case, is another woman.

I so hope the show doesn't even touch on the idea of the Snow Queen being Elsa's actual mother as a lot of people have already suggested. If it does... we're gonna be seeing this line of conversation a lot more.

Seeing how my post about Elsa and Anna's forbidden love has been removed (Really people? Who reported me?), allow me to say this...

 

Majority of Elsanna-shippers (including me) do not literally believe the sisters to be romantically in love with each other, or that incestuous-Elsanna is canon in any way.

 

It's just too damn fun (and hot) not to ship them. But at the end of the day, we recognize Frozen for what it really is - a heartwarming movie about family love and sacrifice.

I won't. I'm quite, no, more  than happy that people have their own interpretations of it all. It's different things to different people, and I think that's great.

 

However, having hung around the fandom for a whiles now, I can tell you that far too many people have treated their views as 100% cannon... and then proceed to argue incessantly amongst themselves about whether It'd be correct or not for them to even depict that. Pointless.

 

And I can't stand agenda issues. I just want to enjoy the fandom of a film I particularly enjoyed.
