Apparently so.

We went to a Halloween event where there were adults in costume dressed up as Disney characters. When we saw the line for "Elsa" was a mile long, my wife and I made a comment to each other about it turned out good that our daughter hadn't seen Frozen.

Other parents, random strangers, started talking to us, gawking in amazement as if we said we had come from the moon. No one could believe we didn't have that soundtrack on loop in our lives and the movie permanently super glued to our DVD player.

Earthbound and I tried to watch the film simultaneously over Xbox Live on our Xbox Ones. I had the blu-ray version, he had the DVD version.

 

We started it at the exact same time, but for whatever reason playback between the Blu-Ray and DVD was a little different and would push one of us ahead a few seconds, so when we were singing along it was like,

 

Earthbound- "For the first time in forever, I fina-"

 

*gets interrupted*

 

Me- "For the first time in fore-"

 

Earthbound- "GODDAMN IT PRINCE, I CANNOT WORK UNDER THESE CONDITIONS"

 

Me- "WELL *EXPLETIVE* ME MATE, YOU HAVE AN XBOX ONE, GET A BLU-"

 

*this was basically how it went, it was glorious*

Turned out to be the ringtone of the guy beside me, and he was a mean-looking fella.
