Disney's going to release a Sing Along version of Frozen in 1000 or so US theatres so that families and such can sing along with the songs in the film, starting January 31st.

Ha! Thats a first.

People are going to flock to that in droves, you just know it.

Well, its not in a huge amount of theatres, not compared to the full release at least, so I'm not gonna jump to conclusions. It'll get a boost, but I don't see it being THAT big. It'll likely bring back a few folks who've already seen it and already know the songs somewhat.

Reminds me a bit of myself as a kid, considering that after I came home after seeing Mulan on screen as a kid I remember shouting to my mum that "I am Mulan, mum!" to which she had replied laughing "But she is a girl, honey." and I in turn "Doesn't matter! She is brave and awesome! Plus she has a dragon!"

I was talking to Caleb about Frozen quite a bit a couple of days ago. He's seen it three times himself and listens to the soundtrack ALL the time in his car. Burnie enjoyed it as well, very much.

They have good taste. Not that you need it mind, Frozen's pretty likeable.

With good reason. I think the songs in movies sometimes get a little corny, making you feel, "Ugh, here's the song we knew was coming", but Frozen's pretty much a musical and the songs actually fit.

That and I like em all.

Eh, I'm not crazy about the opening "Frozen Heart" piece, but I bought the soundtrack almost immediately.

I LOVE Frozen Heart. Its one of my favorites.

I didn't like frozen heart or fixer upper initially, though I quickly realised that was because the cinema speakers sucked and made it almost impossible to distinguish the lyrics in those two.

The soundtrack solved that problem. I like them all now.

I find the lack of arthas/frozen crossovers...disturbing. May have to bust out photoshop and make this a thing.

Currently listening to the OST - I thought fixer upper was alright, kinda catchy. Frozen Heart doesn't do much for me, though. Wanna Build a Snowman seems pretty damned good, and mentioning Let It Go at this point seems like beating a frozen horse. For The First Time In Forever has a nice whimsical feel to it, reminds me of Beauty And The Beast's Little Town.

I'm wondering. You know that Youtube does these Youtube Rewinds at the end of the year with a bunch of youtubers dancing and singing, making parodies of some of the more popular youtube trends, events, and videos of that particular year.

I wonder if "Let It Go" would be big enough of an event to get featured in some way in Youtube Rewind 2014. 50 million views for each of them basically, and thats so far. If its notable enough to get in, I wonder if they'd actually have Let It Go being played at some point during the video, or have a couple lady tubers dressed as Anna and Elsa.

Depends how much there is through the coming year to get distracted by. Hopefully they'll remember it when the time comes.

And South Korea gives their contribution to the fan art, after their recent release.
