I admire both your taste in films and beverages people, but please keep the two at a safe distance of each other at all times.
I fear for your laptops safety.

Think I'd go with blue Elsa to retain some credibility though.

Disney can spin it however they want, but Pocahontas was 12 years old when she threw herself on John Smith to save his life, so she should be below Snow White.LPPrince wrote...
Oi, Disney Princess Ages(including Anna and Elsa who have yet to be added but will be)-
That is super awesome great time! Those are two BA bros.Earthbound N wrote...
Heh, isn't that the truth. The same reasoning probably applies to a couple of the more annoying ships now that I think about it.![]()
Also, angry Frozen story: After talking about Frozen all the time at work and how great it is, two of my female coworkers went to see it...without me! *angryfase*

You should've not let it bother you anyway

You're right, Prince. I'll have to cut through the ice and strike the frozen hearts of a few other coworkers to get them to see Frozen. Preferably with me.LPPrince wrote...

I don't think their parents were horrible parents. I think they were great.
Elsa- Mage
Her Isolation- Being Taken to The Circle
The whole point was to teach her how to not hurt herself/innocent people and to get a handle over her magic. You know that if Anna was with her during those times, it would've been real easy for her to of been killed, given all Elsa had to do to create ice sometimes was to touch something.
Elsa being young+the ice strike is what created her fear of her own power, but as I mentioned before, her parents knew that emotion is what the key to controlling it was. They were teaching her that. Thats dedication. It would've been real easy to feign an accident and be like, "Welp, we lost our eldest. At least we have dear sweet Anna"
But they didn't.
I'm not saying that they were horrible parents entirely, but merely in how they responded to the situation -- which was not appropriate. Yes, they know emotion is key to controlling her powers, but they were telling her to "Conceal, don't feel" which is dangerous. As I said above, repression is not good. Look at how much she was able to do when she was finally able to let it go. She felt free for the first time in her life, ironically by isolating herself completely from society. Because she was no longer hiding her emotions, she was able to do a lot with it. She didn't have complete mastery of it, but that was the first step towards achieving control.
They loved Elsa. I never contested that. It's just that how they were teaching her to control her powers really... wasn't helping matters in the long run. It ran along the lines of "We love you, but we are ashamed of what you can do so people mustn't see you."
While I understand Elsa's reasons for fearing her powers, I just can't see the parents' response as being the right one. It was a loving one, but it was still a horrible one. More so because Elsa was a child, so she was incredibly traumatized by everything.
They knew emotions were the key to Elsa's powers, but they were wrong how. And again, I can understand why they were wrong: what expertise did they have? None.
...but the trolls did. They could've talked to the head troll if they wanted more info.
Although I know real troll lore and it's referenced a bit in the movie, the movie doesn't go into much detail on how trolls are viewed by society.
