The main plot will probably be about getting Olaf a girlfriend.
I called it a while back, TV series incoming about Olaf, Marshmallow and some other snow beings Elsa whipped up because reasons.
(...)
Hmm... that could work. Or it could be like the penguins of Madagascar.

I believe I would much rather risk screwing up royally rather than "letting go" the Voices in my Head. I have grown far too accustomed to them. I would like to give the benefit of the doubt to the producers and think that, should they make a sequel, that would be as much of a motivation as monetary reasons (which are all right, but risky).
Also, having a track record doesn't mean you'll keep it. After all, just a few months ago, Disney had a track record of cliches they dropped in Frozen.
PS: Just a while back I noticed Olaf was created during Elsa's solo. Good to know.

Personally I'd like Frozen to stay as a one movie deal tbh.

Disney Spin-offs and sequels are hardly ever good (Use anything Pixar, Marvel, or Star Wars related in an attempt to prove me wrong and I will...Type...loudly at you)

And yes, it'd probably be better if it remained a standalone film. I was just saying that, in the extremely likely case it happens, I won't cry to the heavens and scream in despair, but rather remain... with a healthy level of skepticism.

The only film sequels I consider superior to the original are like, Wrath of Khan (Not hard, Star Trek The Motion Picture is awful), Terminator 2, and...Transformers Dark of the Moon (I feel dirty for saying that). But Disney...yeah no, sequels aren't for them. But I heard Aladdin 3 was ok, so there's that.

Same, and I'm totally calm dude.

Anyway, if we try to be positive (stupid, but someone has to), putting a label of sequel inadequacy to an entire company is dangerously close to generalisation, and generalisations are usually wrong, in that they have exceptions. And it is never to late to break old patterns.
So there's that, too, one tiny little spark of hope. If they screw up, at least I know I won't suffer serious permanent damage because of it. I survived ME3, probably the worst sequel of all time (at least if you ask around the BSN), so I don't know what some Disney upstarts who know nothing of the fine art of Screwing Up a Series can do to get to me xD.

And I thought I was a cynical pessimist xD. But yeah, that's why I said "dangerous". On the other hand and from my own experience, I know the idea "use a set of characters once and then drop them", even if wise, sucks.

I'm inclined to agree about wanting more Frozen...
I know it's liable to end badly, but it's just too good to pass up on seconds.

I still think they should make something covering the events before the ice strike.
I agree. Better than my idea, just perhaps less likely.

Going from previous Disney Blu-Ray Packs, they usually have at least 1/2 commentaries, behind the scenes, and usually throw in mini-games for the kids. But yeah, they do quite a bit.I'm hoping that the Blueray will be PACKED with goodies - cross your fingers that this is one of them.
I'll always be iffy about the concept until a Disney Sequel blows my mind in terms of quality. Haven't seen that happen yet. Most disney movies feel like a stand-alone piece of work unless other sides of the story can be told, or other aspects of said universe can be expanded that feel justified. The last one to my knowledge, Planes, bombed completely.I would like to give the benefit of the doubt to the producers and think that, should they make a sequel, that would be as much of a motivation as monetary reasons (which are all right, but risky).
Until then, I won't be holding my frozen breath....but if they can pull it off, It'd be a nice change of pace.
