Reading up about it now, I'm glad Disney didn't have Elsa simply be 'evil', as they apparently originally had planned. The trailers kind of made it look like that too, so that's what I thought I was getting into.

The way they actually did it was far more interesting.

The trailers are SUPER misleading. Double edged sword-

Dinner- People might not be interested in/drawn to the film because of the trailers

Dessert- No way is anything really spoiled in the trailers for people who do end up watching the film

Aye, I remember a while back seeing a promo short that consisted solely of Olaf and Sven goofing around, and thinking 'How exactly will they make a film out of this?' Put me off it a little.

Glad to be wrong, but they could have promoted Frozen a little better. Fortunately its popularity says it isn't any worse for wear from it.

Yeah, Olaf is heavily used in the trailers when in the movie he's not nearly that important/vital.

But hey, better people go in and get amazed than have expectations met.

First time I'm seeing that promo short, and yeeeah, guess that was just to show the aesthetics.

Just watched the after credits scene on youtube (the cinema rolled back the curtains whilst I was waiting for it, the cheek of it), and noticed the Kristoff disclaimer. Most amusing.

Also, one of  the sound designers or something was called Odin.

ODIN.

Truly music of the Gods.

And as a Prince I can confirm that even I do that

Keeping with the Frozen theme, now I'm hearing that in the Northeast of the US(eeeey me), The Northern Lights may be visible tonight at around midnight, or Thursday going into Friday.

Gonna be staying up late for that. The Northern Lights were beautiful in Frozen by the way. :)

I'm so jelly of the US. I mean, it may be so cold that your toliets are freezing over, but all I wanted was to leave the cinema and find it snowing after watching Frozen.

Nope, just more torrential rain for the UK. snow + northern lights > flooding

And as early as March for the DVD? Awesome. One of those things I'll be able to watch over and over.

No snow for me right now, but there was totally snow after watching Frozen. Not immediately after leaving the theatre, but later in that day anyway. It was totally convenient. :)

As for the Northern Lights, I didn't catch any last night. Will try again later tonight going into Friday just in case.

And yeah, March. Couple of months for a wait, but not too bad. Especially since I know, just like you, its something I'll watch over and over.

I figure at this point I'll get the Blu-Ray/DVD/Digital HD Copy version that I posted a link to earlier and just catch the film in 3D at the theatre, hopefully this weekend.

Also, there's The Art of Frozen art book that I totally want to get(and might just purchase in a moment).

^ There's apparently some copies in a not too far off bookshop. I'll give it a look over if I get a chance.

I think I might get it down the line rather than right now. Hopefully it keeps its lower price.

Also, tumblr noticed something-

Anna WAS finally noticed by someone(her sister), and the assumed meaning in the song totally gets swerved

This movie and its redirects, I love it

Seems like there was many a nod for those with a keen ear. (Not me)

I caught Olaf repeating Anna's 'The sky is awake' line and that's about it.

Caught that one as well. :)

I assumed "the sky is awake" refers to The Northern Lights.

Absolutely. I'd just assumed it meant the stars or something cos' I'm oblivious.

In that case, I agree with Anna. If the sky was 'awake' I know I would be too.

Same. I don't usually get to experience The Northern Lights here because while I'm in the Northeast, I'm not far North. Not enough anyway. Used to be higher up though.

I know that if those lights were up above and the sky was awake, I'd certainly be awake too, right there with it appreciating all its glory.

Such things are almost unheard of here. I remember one time when they were supposed to be visible but the infamous British climate ensured otherwise. Nothing but clouds.

Between the lights and all that snow, if there were a town similar to Arendelle, I sure wouldn't mind spending some time there.

New York State is pretty impressive in the Winter, let me tell you.

Its pretty much Skyrim in real life. Or Arendelle, in this case.

Ugh, don't tempt me! I can hardly afford a soundtrack right now, never mind a trip to the US.

More...adorablessed? Is that a thing now? I say its a thing.

The line between adorable and adorablessed is up in the air but screw it
