Smaller countries are funny in a way. I moved to Belgium a few months ago and I changed my xbl location and I was #8. I don't slightly care and have never played for n7 or challenge, but was funny to see me going from ~1800 in america to 8 in Belgium.

Don't make it sound so casual. Competition is tough over here. For example, Hendrix and I have been fighting for first in Switzerland for months.

As long as two people care, there is competition.  I just find it humorous that when you are in a small country, your rank is very high by default because of the lack of competition.  For example, my n7 is like 4100 and my challenge pts are 26000 or so.  I've never once cared about either.  But by moving to a small country, and being 8th in both categories, it seems like it would be impressive (saying you're ranked #8 in SOMETHING in a country just sounds impressive) despite both categories not being a true indicator of skill.  

We all know someone can be n7 120 and could have a challenge pts of a few thousand and they could be incredible at the game.  Therefore, the rank systems in the game are more about winning games fast to earn money to spam recruit packs and use a lot of characters and guns - which don't even have to be played well.  For extractions and waves played, you can play bronze and finish achievements.  Therefore, neither rank means anything.  It just sounds funny when in a small country.

I didn't mean for this to sound like a put-down so hopefully you didn't take it that way.  I just found it interesting seeing that there are only 3 people in that country who have ever logged challenge points.

And eighty,  I was joking. Hendrix was never competing with me and I never seriously farmed for CP either. It's more something to do when I don't know what to play. I look at my challenges and think "oh, I've never finished the phalanx challenge", equip one, and then cry for the whole game.
