Not exactly big news ( I have known about that for a while ) but it is always nice to have an offical link just to prove that I ( or anyone else ) did not pull this info out of thin air.



Some have speculated that the future ME games could be mmorpg's, I personally would not mind another Trilogy that takes places several decades after 'Shepard's' storyline and features a new main character. The thought of a Next Gen ME game excites me alot and ME3 isn't even out yet.

Seriously, is there any trend in the video game industry more annoying (or shark-jumping-ing) than taking every franchise even remotely appropriate and turning it into a MMORPG? MMORPGs are like new reality TV shows: everyone knows that all the good concepts are done to death, but the format is so damned lucrative we will never see the end of them.

I would be nervous of any ME game that diverged too far from the 1P shooter/rpg hybrid mold. It's sort of what defines the franchise.

cant explain it better than that. MMORPG ruins great games. You may as well make a whole new game if you want to make a MMORPG cause they would ruin ME and no-one wants that.
