Creature blueprints have a 'Body Bag' drop-down menu that is usually set to 'Default'. The value in that field determines what model they leave behind when they die, if they have droppable items and have not had the 'Lootable Corpse' flag set to True.
Bodybag.2DA contains the options that appear in that drop-down menu (see below). The number in the 'Appearance' column is the line number of the body bag model in placeables.2DA for that option. The currently available options refer to lines 194 to 200 (see below).
#----LABEL----Name----Appearance
0----Default----6671----****
1----Potion----66483----194
2----Scroll----66484----195
3----Treasure----66490----196
4----Body----66492----198
5----Bones----66493----199
6----Pouch----66494----200
Those corresponding lines in placeables.2DA currently all use the standard loot bag model (plc_loot01) in the 'NWN2_ModelName' column. You can edit those placeable.2DA lines to have the various body bag options use other placeable models, such as the following:
Potion: plc_mc_bottle03
Scroll: plc_mc_scroll4
Treasure: plc_mc_treas01
Body: plc_mr_corpsep02
Bones: plc_nl_bonepile
You can also add more lines to bodybag.2DA and placeables.2DA to create options of your own. These are some I've come up with:
RockPile (earth elementals, gargoyles, etc): plc_mc_pile02
Trinkets: plc_mr_offering_pile01
