I know I am very late to ask this but I must. With Dragon Age: Inquisition coming out later this year (or next if delayed), I decided to play Origins and DA2 again. However, my character limit for Origins is nearly at it's limit of ten. My Question is this;
Can I delete a characters save data after I have imported it to one of Origins DLC's or can I delete it after importing to DA2?
DA: Origins only lets you save ten characters at a time, however characters I import to awakening also get one of those ten slots. I want to know if I can simply delete those saves without corrupting any data. In other words I delete my first ever characters save data and when I play the Hawke I imported him to it now will not let me play it. My saves are on 360 (I did not have a pc at the time when I bought the game) and I know how to delete them, I just do not want make a bad mistake and end up deleting everything. I apologize if this is long winded, is not worded properly, or if it has been answered before. If it has please send me a link to the topic from before. Thank you.

Yes, the characters are independent so deleting an origins character won't mess with the awakening character you created from it (similarly, deleting awakening won't interfere with golems, deleting witch hunt won't interfere with da2... etc).
Obviously do the importing before you delete.

Ok thank you. Just wanted to be sure before I did anything.

I would suggest writing down somewhere all the characters you are deleting that have different plot states so if you decide you want to change your world state on a different playthrough of DAI you'll still have the data available. With DA Keep, you should be able to "import" those characters even if you don't have the save files.
