I hope they do better than Galaxies. That game was a trainwreck after SOE screwed it up. Elder Jedi FTW

Star wars is a good MMO as the story is set, one character can't make a difference, the world remains relatively static. But ME is all about you being able to impact the world and change the world around you, this does not fit with MMOs.

ME is about you being able, but not the universe, i believe the mass effect universe would be an unreal sci-fi mmo, that or starcraft, im tired of star trek and star wars.

I think it's a good idea, but preferably after they've finished the main trilogy. If you think about it, it's a pretty ideal setting for a MMO.

In the long future, yes please. Right now? No, no, no!
They are currently making SW: TOR which seems to shape quite nicely and keep the story very close-by. Or at least from what I have seen... once that gets old, they can start working on a ME MMO. I'd love one, but only once they can put their heart and soul into it.

Those that would say no at that point don't really got much to do with it anyway, as they most likely don't like MMO's. For now I can understand why people would say no - it could ruin the resources for the franchise.

I've grown fairly cold to the majority of MMO's, since I really dislike replacing gear with regularity, as is so often the case with MMO's.

I'd definitely try a Mass Effect MMO, though, but I'd prefer something smaller like Diablo 2 or Borderlands.

I for one like their decisions to do this.
I like playing some games with friends, now I can actually do so in an awesome franchise that for once doesn't seem to bash the story into a pile of horse crap.

Says you. What is your issue with ToR, exactly? It's going to have the same depth in its dialogues that games like Mass Effect and KotOR do, the combat is going to be very similar to KotOR's, and it's staying true to the Star Wars universe. How have they "ruined" the franchise?
