Why when I get into a fight,my party members drop like flies within a short time?
They are hopeless especially the endboss fight with Saron,they just die within a minute.
Why are your party members so dumb?

Who are your squadmates? Ashley and Wrex can take a lot of damage with Immunity. Wrex also has Barrier.
Liara and Kaidan can lift hopper Saren, rendering him helpless so no one gets shot. Sabotage and Damping may also work at preventing Saren from using powers or guns.
You can also try moving them to a spot where they will not get shot, like behind a pillar or something.

Squad members are pretty dumb in ME1. Especially when they try to shoot enemies through walls.
For Saren, it is best to lift or attempt to debuff him briefly. Also it is better if Shepard tries to tank a little, most of the time.

I took Garrus and Tali with me to the endboss fight and we all stayed alive?
