I've heard something about Orsino giving you a set of white mage robes, but I can't seem to find any information about them. Other than the Robes of the Overseer, which are IMO the best non-armor robes in the game, there isn't really a great selection like there are for warriors and mages. Has anyone else heard of these robes, and if so, how do I get them?

In Act 3, if you side with the mages in the beginning, Orsino gives you Cumberland Circle Robes as a reward for finishing Best Served Cold. I've never actually tried them on to see what they look like because Hawke usually has better robes by then.
