From 2:50 onwards. I didn't ever hear this in ME1 or the other games. I know the prior half plays somewhere on Noveria but I found this track on my pc and thought it was a mix of awesome and corny. I wish they'd used this for something, like a nightclub shootout or something :-P
Was this music-track ever used anywhere in the series?

not really sure, I think the first part is just where you are walking around passively...so maybe the second part is the combat music for that part of the game? I haven't played me1 in a while so I cant say

The Secret Labs is Noveria. I've had the Mass Effect OST a long time so my memory is foggy regarding which pieces of music made it into the game. Perhaps it plays during the Neutron Purge section or when you fight that green Asari (not Shia'la?

Haven't heard this anywhere either. But isn't it fairly common for parts of music to not make it into the game?
The first part you hear driving the Mako from port Hanshan to Peak 15, I believe.

Yeah, it's more often you see music simply being shortened, but the cut part in this case is a lot different from the piece we know. My only guess at an explanation is that Jack Wall (or whoever wrote it) delivered this as it is - perhaps Bioware asked for an atmospheric track for Noveria with a piece of combat music on the side, then chose not to use the combat music (or forgot about it). Then when compiling the OST, they simply transfer the track as it was. Dunno, just a guess
