I hope they don't announce any more characters. I'd rather not know anything about the characters in the game before I play it.

I'd rather they released detailed mechanical information, instead. Or background lore.

Is that what everybody actually calls him or just a nickname you suddenly came up with?  Cuz I'm all for the character actually being called "Beardo" by our other companions.

Purely speculation but from the concepts we've seen I'm more thinkin he's someone who's been estranged with the Wardens, maybe because he looks kind of older and might be approaching his calling. I've got an image in my head of him joining the Inquisitor to try and do something with the time he has left. Maybe as a mentor sort.

Probably with a sense of humour despite it too, judging by that tavern concept art.

I'm expecting either the warden or the female elf rogue (Sera?) since they are the only two that we've seen in gameplay footage, which makes them semi-confirmed as at least temporary companions.

No Cullen please. He is dull and boring. And no returning characters. There is already too many of them. Let the rest of the cast be fresh and new! (or Fenris, then its okai)

Meh, it shouldn't be ok in any cases, not just because your favorite character would return.
And I prefer to see Cullen than Fenris, since I'm interested in the fomer's character development and the latter was already a companion.
I'd have preferred to have 9 new companions, though.
