On topic:
Not sure if this would be considered outlandish, but since I intend on going the completionist route before heading into the suicide mission it would be nice if since if Shepard survives the ending and it's possible to still walk around/talk to NPCs after the credits for there to be a decent amount of fresh dialogue and maybe even a new sidequest or 2.

 

I could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure it's already been announced that, unlike ME1, the game doesn't end after the climactic battle.  Dead squad members are still dead, but any unfinished threads can still be played through.  No idea about dialogue and additional sidequests, though.

And romance Emily Wong.

I can't agree, but I hope she shows up anyway.  Hopefully she improved the lives of those traffic controllers.

In ME1, I really wanted the ability to promote my crew members, to pick who would be XO, for instance, or to give out commendations. In ME2, there isn't the same military crew dynamic, but I would like that type of freedom of being a real captain.



I also would like my male Shep, if he didn't romance Liara or Ashley in ME1, to now, in ME2 acknowledge some unspoken feelings for Kaiden when they run into one another.
