Yyyyyes, it would seem to me that that is entirely in your own hands, isn't it?Enoch VG wrote...
Dialogue choices that are driven by roleplaying, rather than the meta-gaming desire to move the "sap"/"jerk" bars on your character sheet.
I would also love to see one teammate get completely distracted by something while you're walking about on a planet or station. Like you would be walking along with Thane and Tali and suddenly Thane goes: "... wait, where's Tali?" and you backtrack to find her staring at the shop window of an omnitool vendor.

It is until the developer puts its thumb on the scale by making your future dialogue effectiveness contingent upon the totals in your sap/jerk meter. When the player knows that the only way to get an effective character is to maximize either his/her sap points or jerk points, the roleplaying in the game becomes, essentially, a binary choice made at character creation. It becomes boring. (KotOR had the same flaw, but there at least the whole mystical darkside/lightside force stuff provided a plausible reason for it. Bio seems to have mistaken this 'compromise for the sake of the gameworld rules of an established license' for a strength to be emulated in games that aren't limited by Lucasarts' past work.)Yootje wrote...

Hehe, that would be awesome.

*shrug* I don't experience it that way at all. There's no arguing about taste.Enoch VG wrote...

That Thane becomes real and jumps out from my laptop and makes love to me all night. Or even for 2 hours.
Ok I chuckled. Especially the last part about "even for 2 hours", like it's not a ridiculous request at all. Great comedic phrasing.

For occasional humorous social interactions between the various squaddies on the new Normandy. Like Jacob trying to bond with Garrus, only to send him into anaphylactic shock after offering him a donut. Or Garrus sharing his food recipes with Tali. SuZe doing workouts with Grunt. Or Thane singing a duet with Mordin. Or Shepard walking past the restrooms and hearing someone singing in the shower.
This would make the game. Garrus and Tali sharing food recipes would be adorable! (especially since she can never go back to the Flotilla for proper Quarian food.)

me: "Joker, open channel to the alliance/council fleet"
Joker: "channel open"
me: "This is Commander Shepard of the Normandy. I'm taking command of the fleet."
Admiral X: "Shepard? We were told you died at (insert planet where I supposadly died)."
me: "I came back from hell to kick some Reaper *** because it seems you can't get it done without me."
Then I take command and can give orders to the fleet
So basically - I want interactive space-battles.
oh, and I want Liara to return! :-)

- More and even deeper conversations
(I don't know why I like this in games... But I relish more from it than I do in IRL, and that's shameful...)
- More intense cut-scenes and deeper emotions
(This is what makes a RPG "tick" in my opinion)
Ridiculous
- Force my crew to run around naked and take a full day free from "Fighting for the Lost".
(I would literally be ROFL if I could do this!)
Well, that would be a fun scene.Naughty Bear wrote...
