So, "Rapid Aim" is both a sustained ability for Archers and it is also an enhanced feature of some bows. My question might be a stupid one, but I'm asking it anyway since I don't know the answer...
Do you have to have the sustained ability in order to exploit the rapid aim enchancement on a bow? And/or does using a bow with rapid aim stack the shot speed when using the Rapid Aim sustained ability?
I'm trying to decide if it's worth it to give my dual-weapons-Warrior PC a bow with rapid aim as her back up, or if I should give it to Leliana -- we haven't leveled up high enough for her to meet the dex requirements of Marjoline's Recurve -- who has the Rapid Aim sustained ability. (There are really only a couple of places that I would have my PC actually use a bow, so it doesn't really matter THAT much, I guess.)

Rapid Aim (bow ability) and Rapid Aim (sustained ability) aren't the same... you don't both to use it. However, trying to use both won't give you an additional bonus I guess... better use the sustained Precise Striking (or however it was called) together that bow, to increase both the speed aswell as the accuracy.
