1. "It appears that your drone is preparing to rebel"
2. "Because I was on fire. You know, from the car? Come on Shepard, keep up."
Also, "Worst. Shore leave. Ever" didn't get a laugh, but it at least got a little chuckle.

Eh, looking back, I dislike a lot of the camp and pure fluff. I'd rather they cut that stuff and given us more development than focus on the alcohol humor and fun and games attitude. Personally, I'd have made the story darker and cut the party element, or at least made the mechanic less of a party and more of a get together post ending. I'd keep some elements like (some) the dates.
I only partly agree, because the fluff was endearing. Some of it didn't work, some of it did.
The Citadel DLC---especially the companion interactions---wasn't serious business, though.

I love Citadel, I really do, but my biggest issue with it is that it doesn't take itself seriously enough. It feels too much like a parody of itself (in the context of the game), and looking back, it does bother me.
When I think of something that got the 'callback/celebration/anniversary of the series', I can't help but think of the recent 50th Anniversary episode of Doctor Who. It has its light-hearted moments, its callbacks and references to the series, both the 'Classic' and 'Revival' series, especially how part of the story felt like 'A Christmas Carol', with John Hurt's War Doctor feeling like Ebenezer Scrooge and Billie Piper's AI character feeling like the Ghost of Doctor's Yet to Come. But at its core was a darker, though uplifting tale of how the Doctor became the man he has been in the entire Revival Series, and how he changes his past to overcome his feelings of despair and shame over his actions throughout the story.

Well, it was fluff without feeling campy. Like Samara and Thane's bits, it felt more... mature, at least the parts where Shepard and Miranda are in private. I wasn't exactly the most fond of the some of the party stuff with other characters and her, but it wasn't terrible. To be honest, even if she wasn't my LI, I'd still say her role in Citadel was comparatively (compared to the fluff and camp throughout) one of the better things about the DLC, even if she didn't get the development, interaction, and involvement that I believe she deserved throughout ME3.

I thought that was one of the worst parts of the DLC. It was the moments like that that practically made the ending look like a masterpiece in my opinion.

Interesting that they gave Miranda quite a bit of 'I'm not good at normal crap' dialogue.
She doesn't need to be. She's extraordinary. And it's going to be an engaging life for Shepard and Miranda.
All that running, jumping, and gunfire.
But you don't need to be good at normal to do it.
So I think your intended provocation is more of a compliment than anything else.

Cool. I'm pretty fond of this track, reminds me a bit of JSRF. But now I have to play through Citadel because of this thread.
