Nope and i don't intend to but i do know that the current divine is suppose to be nice but that's irrelevant to me since i don't like what she and the chantry stands for as a whole and i'm going to kill her.

How do you know you have such an option sweetheart?

I don't i'm just hoping there is but i suspect Bioware will make me befriend her or make all the dialog i can say be respectful or something else equally awful.

I can only hope :P

That's a rather pointless crusade to go on after a war that will probably ravage the land. If anything, you'll need the Chantrys to house all of the displaced people after the war.

But you know, if your Inquisitor wants to pointlessly and illogically destroy resources, then I guess that's his peragotive.

The chantry doesn't offer anything i see worth keeping them around for and all those displaced people can  just rebuild whatever crappy town they lived in before.

Sounds like a pretty worthless hero to me.

My character is only a hero because Bioware plot demands it because its defiantly not something i want to be.

Vengeace only takes over when Anders is angry.

Or in the Fade, or when Anders is fighting against what Vengeance wants.  But my point has nothing to do when and how Vengeance is able to assume control, but rather that it is incorrect to say that Vengeance can't take him over.  He indisputably can and does.

I NEVER said that Vengeance CAN'T take him over. I am saying that it takes over Anders' body and then controls his body.

Yes, you did.

Orian Tabris wrote...

Pretty sure by this time Vengeance took over if still alive

Vengeance
can't take over him. They "are as one."
The only thing vegeance can do
is replace him in the mortal realm, fulltime (ignoring the fact that it
was actually in the mortal realm anyway, since it was unable to do
anything). Eventually Vengeance might replace him in the mortal realm,
while Anders replaces it in the Fade.

Basically, Vengeance is just slowly leaving the Fade and entering the mortal realm permanently, for good(?).

Like I said, he's trolling

I'm not a troll! This is me trolling...

Wow, you are such an idiot. Seriously, do you even know what a fullstop is? Hint, hint.

Gaider has pretty much hinted Anders won't return. But he also hints Vengeance might.

Me too. :)

I'm going through the first playthrough. I'll try to stop arguing so the OP can have his thread back. :pinched:

Does Anders forget what Justice does because he's in the Fade at the time that Justice takes over his body?

No, the memories of the spirit and the host are not affected with any of the transitions.

Are you saying Anders doesn't lose memory in the transitions?

Hanar is right.  While Anders admits it a little on the friendship path, as a rival he makes that quite clear.

And this turned into a typical Anders thread.  Sorry OP, I know you tried.

Its actually good it turned on like this. This is full proof people care about Anders and Justice, which was my point. I hope mods are reading.

we NEED to know what happens to them and a codex/hearing about it in game wont cut it.

I like his character(especially compared to Awakening), though I see him more as a tragic character than a heroic one.

+1

Anders is one of the best examples of tragic characters I've seen in a while.

One has to feel sorry for the character so they can be labled tragic.

I don't think that is necessarily true, but either way, many players DO feel sorry for him, so if you were trying to imply that he can't be tragic because nobody feels sorry for him...

@Rassler: No offense, but there is a new thread about how great or awful Anders is about once every 3-4 days. I was hoping for something different, but eh..oh well.

That's kind of silly.  I don't think Bioware was somehow unaware that Anders has a great many fans before this thread was created

Let me clarify.

Vengeance takes over Ander's body, THEN that spirit takes control of that body.

Forget any errors I've made because the above is the sementical truth.

Example:
Once Vengeance completely takes over Anders' body, it is then able to control the body permanently (or until the body/mind is dead.. whichever it is).

From what's going on in this thread a codex/hearing would work just fine or him appearing with Vengeance now in control if players spared him or just Justice because players killed Anders

Education. Housing. Relief for the needy. Shelter to the refugees in times of crisis.

Sounds like a lot more to offer then the other lords of the land do.

He's had a major role in the past two games. He's had his chance to shine. I think Bioware should move forward and focus on new characters. There will be plenty of opportunity for the mage/templar issue to be brought up without bringing him into it again.

Indeed.

A codex will have to cut it. Hearing about it in the game will only cut it if there is a codex to go with it.

I don't see how reminding them that we care is silly :P There are Anders fans who are totally in love with him and Bioware knows about them. But there are those that want to know what happens to him explained fully even though they are not really a fan, these people matter too. Can you see how many different opinions/ideas people have about him? Probably 99% of them are wrong and only inquisition can tell us which 1% of them are true.

with less than a year to go (or just over, if my assumption about BioWare time holds) you're way too late for them to include him if he hadn't been.

Again, the idea that Bioware somehow didn't know that before this thread existed is silly.

Also, instead of keeping these quote trees so massive, would it hurt to cut them down so you're not quoting five conversations that are no longer pertinent?  There's no need to let them get so unwieldy.

The second thing is basically the same as the third thing. The fourth thng is basically the same as the third thing.

As for education, who is it that provides people with an education in Thedas? I know that there's a thread for that. Anyway, the Dalish are educated by each other, without the Chantry, and the city elves are probably not educated by the Chantry, but I'm not sure. However, the "education" the Chantry provides includes their own beliefs, which they DON'T need to give to people. They do it because that's what they believe in, and that's what they want you to believe in.

Just because the second, third and fourth thing mean the same thing to you doesn't mean that they are as unimportant as you're implying by not even addressing them in your reply.

Forcing yourself in a role that you don't want to be in for 30 hours doesn't sound very fun.
