I made a thread a while back talking about what characters i would like to see again. People got mad saying they wish that no old characters returned even morrigan. What they really ment was they wanted all new followers. At first i said i did want characters from the old games to return as followers but know i agree with those people. I also want all new followers.

With that being said i still think its fine to have them return just not as followers. What i mean is this. Each follower from the past games have "pull" with certain factions. Like sten has obvious pull with the qunari. Plus i think sten became the arishock. Also some1 merril might have pull with the dalish or blood magic. Zeveran might have pull with anyone or any faction anti mage. Like say zeveran went and started a mage hunting organization or somthing. and if in DAI you choose to be anti mage you could choose to try and gain his allegence. Or Some1 like isabella might be able to help the inquisition with...uhhh water...pirate stuff. Or even better she might even be able to give the inquisition a navel fleet or somthin like that. I hope u catch what im sayin. What if there just AI or people who can help you. What i sayin is that previous followers each can have a role to play i the current events of DAI. now im not trying this is what should happen or that i think ALL  previous characters should return. But to be realaistic im sure the the previous characters will not just sit by while demons are everywere and theres a big ass war betwwen the mages and templars. But they WILL  choose a side. This is just an idea.
